Question about Cars & Trucks
I purchased a 2002 dakota 6 cylinder truck about 6 months ago and soon after noticed that it would almost stall if I hit the gas from an idol and let off. Also while driving it seems to sound rough as the rpm's climb and I don't get much acceleration as they climb either. Now I got a boat and was towing it home and was very disappointed in the power. I was maxed out at about 25 mph going up a hill and would Only hit about 60 on the highway with a very small incline. The boat weighs about 2200 lbs with the trailer.I'm handy with tools and get by but am not great when it comes to veichicles.any help would be very appreciated.
Sounds like your cam shaft is wore out but not knowing MAKE /MODEL engine size etc you can't expect much help.
