How do i run the wire from my fan to a tougle switch on a 95 lumina

The wire that you ran for the positive side of the battery needs to first be ran threw the fire wall to your switch . Then from the switch to the fan . Don't forget to make sure that the fan is blowing the right direction . You can switch the Pos and Neg wires on the fan and it will run the other direction

1983 Chevrolet C10 Silverado: The AC compressor and heater blower motor fan will not come on.

The brown wire at the speed switch is the power wire. Powers is then directed to the blower motor resistor throught the orange, lt blue and yellows wires. The blower motor receives power through the orange wire. Check for power at the fuse with the key on. If there is no power the problem could be the ignition switch or the wiring in between the switch and the fuse block

How do I fix the heater switch on a rover 25 1.4i Y reg

** First check the Fuse 19, 20A, in passenger fuse box (see manual- under steering wheel). then earthing connection E5 (Front LH inner wing.
**electricat connections are most accessable at Motor resistor bank, behind glove box (released by 8mm 2 bolts underneath ) Resistor pack in front of blower motor, 2x 6mm bolts. flick or squeese electrical relaese tab**

** Check the state of the motor speed resistor pack/ prone to resistor/resistor wire failure , which is behind the glove box,

The motor circuit is Green, live feed , to motor, slate black to motor speed selector (resistor pack), Output (slate or Yellow or Green or pink And Black) then Heater selector switch to earth (black).
- The feed from the motor is Slate/ Black wire. It pass through (or bypasses) resistor bank which limits the current through) the motor thus controlling. the speed. This has 4 connection slate grey from motor.

**Check 12v feed on blower Motor connector Green +ve , Slate Black to Earth. if ok, short Slate/black(Sl/Blk) to earth motor should run.

-Slate/B black (S/B) via No restor to switch, pos 4,

-Yellow/ Black (Y/B) via High resistor to Switch Pos 3
--Green/ Black (G/B) via Medium resistor to Switch Pos 2.
--Pink/ Black (K/B) via Xresistor to Switch Pos x.

From heater selector all final connection to earth are via to Black wire to earth on ineer LH inner wing.

Heater fan does not turn on

check for power to heater fan. run a wire from battery to fan, then use a piece of wire to ground it. if the fan works but will not work from switch, check the fan resistor, if ok. make sure you are getting power to fan motor. use a 12 volt test light to check for power at the fan motorwith fan selecter on.. good-day !

Collingfans won't come on after resistor was replaced, also ac pump won't come on, have power to the relays under the hood and when they are jumped can get power to ac unit but still no fans

on the cooling fan part, disconnect the wire harness and run 2 wires from the connector to the battery, ( 1 wire to the pos 1 to the neg) if that dont work, switch the wires at the battery (take the wire on the pos and switch with the neg) if the fan still dont come on , you have a bad motor on the fan. if it does work and your relays are good, i would say you have another electrical problem

I have a jetta 1998 and my wipers and my a/c is not working and ialready check the fuses

separate problems. find a good size wire with 12 volts around the steering column or fuse box one that only has volts when key on run wire with12 volts to new switch from parts store and the other side of the switch o the windshield wiper motor hook to positve wire on wiper motor touch each wire till you find the right one don't touch black wires usually negative. you may want to run a wire straight ot he wiper motor to the positve side of the battery first to be sure the motor isn't burned up get you a cheap tast light at the parts store to check foe voltage they are worth their weight in gold as to the a/c does the fan inside blow? if so run a wire from the pos side of the battery to the wire that hooks to the a/c compressor if it clicks its working if not run a wire and switch just like the wipers. on the a/c get someone to sit inside turn key on all a/c switches on you should hear click if fan and compressor work and still no cool you need refrigerant bye from sunny austin tx

Heater fan

not necessarily could be something else try jumping the fan with direct current from battery and see if it runs could be in fan switch or could be a fuse causing the problem if it does not run with direct current from battery then it is the motor.

Overheating, radiator fan not working

the fan motor may not be working ..you can check it... while the motor is off...unplug the fan and take a piece of wire hook it to the negitive wire on the fan and and run it to the neg on the battery...then take another wire and hook it to the positive on the fan and make sure your fingers are clear of the fan touch it to the pos on the battery ...if the fan dosent run then replace the fan...if it does run then the temp sensor might be gone
