Need to recharge the air conditioning on a 1996 honda accord

If you need to add, you have a leak & are poluting
the atmosphere

Have the system evacuated, repaired & properly charged

You have no way to force an unknown amount into the system
& may ruin it, by over filling or letting air in

A/C work of any kind ,on any product, is for the trained people

Where do you plug a scanner to diagnose a problem in a 1996 Honda Accord

The obd 2 port in my '96 Honda accord ex is behind the ash tray, you have to take out the ash tray to get to it. Hope this helps! :)

I just repaired the transmission getting ready to add oil. I installed a new converter. Will i have to add more than 2.5 quarts of fluid?

yes, it should take about 6 to 7 quarts with a new torque converter-fill it with at least 4 or 5 quarts, start it, put it no drive and reverse numerous times, then check the level at the dip stick while running (on a level surface) and fill accordingly.

Where do you put the gear fluid in the 96 accord?

If you mean transmission fluid? It goes in the same place where your dip stick goes into. You need a small end, long funnel.

Take Transmission Dip Stick out, insert funnel and add manufactured recommended fluid as nedded. DO NOT OVERFILL

A/c blowing hot in 96 dodge neon wanting to add refridgerant don't know which valve to hook up to

The car should have R134 freon (and should have a label in the engine compartment indicating so). R134 ports are two different sizes and your charge hose should only fit the correct port
