This is a fault for the first O2 sensor, It is important to know the added info scanners provide about the electrical fault detected (can indicate mixtures, heater circuit, slow response or plain electrical fault) Keep in mind depending on the missing info you can have an air leak from the pcv system, evap system or a small hole in the Induction/Intake hoses, What engine do you have?

I think this is the O2 sensor - It will run fine but you might notice your gas mileage slipping and will not pass emissions.

Bank one is toward the front of the vehicle. Sounds like the heated oxygen sensors have gone bad. The Oxygen Sensors are located in the exhaust pipe and require a special socket to remove and replace.

If you get under the car & see 2 exhaust converters you have 4

One converter you have 2

The Codes are rich & lean, not much help

If the sensors have 100,000 miles on them, you
change only the front 2,the ones closest to the engine

Where is the oxygen sensor, bank 1 sensor 1, located on a 2000 Toyota Solara? What is the best one to purchase for replacement?

B1S1 means first (upstream) , closest sensor to cyl. head , usualy at exhaust manifold.Bank 1 is cyl. head with cyl.#1 if you have V6 engine.
Best choice for brand - Denso.

You have most likely a sensor harness wiring problem, no signal return, at this point your system needs to be hooked up to what is called a "break out box" to see what lead is dead, most likely a broken burnt or damaged wire, there is no easy way to do this, I strongly suggest this go to the Volvo dealer for diagnosis or rewire that sensor all the way back to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module), but preform these few checks 1st before you give up, pull the connector off at the sensor and look for pushed out pins in either the male or female side of the connector, you may also want to swap that sensor with the adjacent O2 sensor and see if the code comes up for bank 2 sensor 1, in that case the new sensor is defective, that is rare but it does happen.
