SOURCE: 2000 Nissan Xterra Service Engine soon indicator is always on

The knock sensor is not a huge deal to replace and will not turn on the light. It should be dont though.

The crankshaft sensor is located directly between the engine and transmission. It is dead center at the bottom.

Have you changed all the plugs to platinum and wires? My xterra was doing that and I changed all of them and now it runs great. Also, I changed the distribitor cap and rotor button.

SOURCE: the power outlets dont work in my 2000 Nissan

The power fuse for the accessory power outlets (front and rear) is in the engine compartment on the passenger side. If the fuse is good, check the positive (center) connection in the outlet for power. These outlets are subject to ground (negative) failure local to the outlet socket

P0325 knock sensor 1 circuit malfunction bank 1 or 1 sensor, the knock sensor should be check/replaced. You can buy Haynes Repair Manuals at Pepboys that will walk you throught the process step by step.
P0303 is a cylinder misfire in cylinder 3 which may mean it could either be the spark plug, coil or the injector.

SOURCE: 2000 Nissan Xterra doesn't run

Hi,

Your P0325 is a knock sensor under intake manifold , the P1320 is a bad distributor we see a few of these go bad I would replace the distributor, and the P0325 is a knock sensor this I would not worry about unless you have a supercharger it is located under the intake manifold not easy to change .
