Question about 2000 Ford Taurus
Check the injector reference with a noid light. Or if it has a crank fuse.depending the the motor if it's 3.0 ohv or if 3.0 over head cam my have a cam sensor out that won't let the injectors open.you can get a can of Berryman B-12 spray take the air induction hose off and get someone to hold the throttle open spray it for 3 sec Put the hose back on quickly because it has an air flow meter then see if it starts for just a few sec. If so if your pressure is good and you it fires the it's the injectors not opening fuse or cam sensor

Taurus doesn't have what is called a heater control valve, are you reffering to the remote climate control module, the one that the vacuum lines hook to? If so it is behind the glove box. Just open the glove box and press the 2 clips on the sides so it opens all the way up and it will be located right behind this.

The crank sensor is what pulses the ijectors, and makes the spark,so I would start at the crank sensor.Let me know how you come out.Check for any blown fuses also.Ecm fuse would cause this, but it may be called anything ,so check all fuses.
