I have read that the 2011 Sonata has serious problems with the engine seizing. Does this affect all models in all countries?

The torque specifications for a 2013 Ford Ranger 3.2L engine are as follows:
Engine oil drain plug: 28 Nm
Engine oil filter housing: 27 Nm
Engine mount through bolt: 90 Nm
Engine mount to bracket bolt: 50 Nm
Engine mount bracket to body bolt: 50 Nm
Engine mount bracket to cylinder block bolt: 50 Nm
Engine mount bracket to engine mount nut: 50 Nm

and also says, get the car serviced, for most red lights.

It could be something else but this is a 2011, There pretty much right on with the codes now a days. The pressure sensor for the manifold shouldn't be that hard or expensive to replace. Unfortunately is an electrical part, that's the biggest problem. Good Luck

It is not a do it yourself fix.

This is an automatic transmission issue which may involve replacing the valve body and solenoid pack and affects transmissions fitted to various Chrylser models. It could also be a symptom of more serious transmission problems and requires proper investigation and diagnosis.

On some models there was a Technical Service Bulletin issued to dealers on this problem .

no country told at all, how sad is that? (super bad)
some countries even above us, USA, up in CANADA the CEL LAMP
rules are not the same as in USA, it hides errors up there. (laws odd) but lets forget oddness.

not told clearly what that means./ STALLS is the word for engines that die. dead. for no good reasons, STALLS.
fuel smells driving parked or both or only head under hood./

all fuel caps smell fore sure loose or off. nothing magic there.
what wheel bay of 4, I can not guess that.
off hand car seems to me a danger to drive, for sure see fuel raw leaking and liquid ANYWHERE, , look more carefully is wise.


do not type DTC errors wrong, P and B and U are not the same.
P1 and P2 codes are oem factory only codes. and only Hy

orr all codes are bogus (seems they are)
vast cheep scan tools show the wrong codes
for example shows P0007 code but there is no such code
at Hyundai at all. HYJACKER IS your post about smell or the 3 bogus DTC the OP posted.
better is start you own post, with your full symptoms not others.

I call bogus codes or written down grossly wrong.
use only 2008 scan tools or newer and only those that states
it can do factory OEM Hyundai codes.

Is it still covered under the factory warranty ?

there will be a cable from the cruise control that moves when the cruise controls the car. This cable is usually paralleled to the cable that the accelerator pedal moves.At the throttle control of the engine you will find these wire cables. If the cruise control cable is not oiled it can seize in the cable sleeve which might affect the accelerator pedal also.

Cleaning any engine can cause problems
if you get water etc in any wire harness
connectors

Up until 1980 it was common to heat the motor
& after using mineral spirts to get the bad greasy
spots, you used the Gunk engine cleaner you spray on

You can still do all that but only in limited areas &
using a hose to rinse thing off is risky

well its either the radio or the speakers ,and the cold can affect electrical components ,more than likely they dont want to change them under warrenty ,bet if you book car in after warrenty runs out they would change them quick enough
