SOURCE: Chevy Impala Door lock issue

Which is it, 98 Eclipse, or 06 Impala? Either way, your door lock actuator is stuck in the locked position either electrically or mechaically. The way to check this is to remove the door panel and unplug the actuator. If door lock can now be moved then you have an electrical problem (faulty door lock switch or faulty door lock module). If you still cannot unlock door then actuator is mechanically bad and must be replace (usually the case)

that clicking noise you hear is likely a relay in the fuse panel that needs to be replaced. the easiest way to find out which relay it is would be to put you finger on each relay as you actuate the device not working. once you locate the clicking relay replace it . to reset the computer just unhook the battery for about ten minutes. if you have an anti theft radio make sure you know the code for it and how to enter it before you unhook the battery.

Clicking noise in dashboard

More than likely its the blend door motor, they have plastic gears inside, one tooth broke off and when it gets to that spot, starts clicking. The blend door, is behind the glove box. This is a problem with a lot of impalas (GM products ) Good-Day!

Most probablh a broken recirculation door hinge. When broken, the door will be laying on top of the blower motor and shut the air exit. Remove the blower motor and look up. If you see the door and csn fteely move it by hand, then that is the problem. Some people just secure it in up position eith some wire. Ofcourse recirc will not work anymore.

Clicking noise under dash near blend door. Removed fan and clicking still there. Is it possible the blend door is causing the clicking. It only starts when temp controls are moved from col to warm.

could be the blend door actuator(motor) when its clicking, disconnect it, if it stops then the motor is bad. If you want to.....if you mostly have it on recirc anyhow, just disconnect it when the door is open.

The blend door actuator is hanging up. This actuator (motor) manipulates the door that allows fresh air or recirculation of air while using climate control.

P0411 is what is says is my problem with my 1997 Ford Taurus When my heater is on it makes a clicking noise. What could is the most likely problem and how can i fix it?

i belive that the dtc that you have is not related to the clicking noise at all. apparently p0411 is concerning the secondary air injection. the clicking noise however would be a stuck or broken blend door or blend door motor. usualy the hvac system utilizes 3/4 of these blend door motors. to further diagnose this start your heater with the heat on full and fans at the normal face vents and move the vent selector from that inital position to the last position and if the clicking quits at any point then it would be that blend door motor. if that doesnt work then try to slowly move the heat selector from full heat to full cold, same deal. and if still at that point its making noise see if it goes away by selecting recirculate to fresh air....
