Why do you want to do that ? You can't just change ECU'S ,they need to be programed an only dealer can do that !

if you are sure it is the immobilizer and not

a flat battery in the key or fob
a fuel pump pressure / filter or spark issue
or ECU

cant go ripping out wires guessing

vehicle will need a tow to a workshop
or a mobile mechanic/ breakdown service
with a diagnostic reader to reset the system

Factory fitted alarm not activating on locking the vehicle

Sounds like either a fuse is blown or some setting has to be changed.

I have got toyota noah which wont start. the cranking its there. battery is good. there is no powere to fuel pump. fuse all ok. even changed the engine control unit.

If the vehicle is fitted with an immobiliser that could be the problem. Have you checked for a spark?

If an immobiliser is fitted the new engine ECU will have to be coded before it will work.

A wiring diagram is almost essential to diagnosing the problem. There is likely to be a relay controlling the supply to the fuel pump but what controls the relay? If the relay is controlled by the engine ECU there will be no supply until the immobiliser is disarmed.

If the vehicle was presented to me I would check for a spark and if a spark is present I would provide a temporary supply to the fuel pump to test if the engine starts, proving the fault is not immobiliser-related but a wiring or switching problem.

I have toyota camry 1995 with toyota security light on the dashboard.I have toyota fitted security features but with the light on i cannot start the engine as it immobilises.I have no remote key or unit in...

there maybe a fault with the drivers door. if it used to be able to start before without the fob. then there would be a fault with the lock. only other way is to get the pass code from toyota but they may not have it as it is a 1995. the only other way is to have the immobiliser sent off to a company that can retrieve the code from the unit and make a new fob for it. can cost a lot. but if you change anything you still need the pass code unless you get another ecu immobiliser alarm and fob from another car. then it should all work then. but make sure it is a set.

Need schematic wiring diagram for 2002 Toyota Caldina

This is an (almost) impossible task. The immobiliser ECU which reads the key communicates with, and is controlled by, the engine ECU.
It's not possible to just "bypass" the system.
I said "almost" impossible because with the right tools, knowledge and unlimited time it may be possible to capture the code of a useable system, then design and build a black box to respond correctly to the engine ECU, which would allow engine operation.
If you have lost your only usable key, you need to order a new one (as you haven't indicated your exact model, I can't give you the correct part number - keys are different depending on model/engine).
You will also need a dealer who can programme a new key to your existing vehicle.
If your existing vehicle has problems with the immobiliser, you may be able to find a Toyota dealer to interrogate your OBD to see what the issue is. If not, replace the key transponder unit, then the ECU.
I've assumed you know it's an immobiliser issue, and that you've done the usual wiring and fuse checks etc.

We have been to look at a volkswager transporter autosleeper talent 1996 today that is for sale. Unfortunately the lady was unable to start it. We thought that the battery was flat but are now wondering...

Immobiliser"s have been mandatory in all new cars sold in Germany since 1 January 1998, in the United Kingdom since 1 October 1998, in Finland since 1998, in Australia since 2001 and in Canada since 2007. Early models used a static code in the ignition key (or key fob) which was recognised by an RFID loop around the lock barrel and checked against the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) for a match. If the code is unrecognised, the ECU will not allow fuel to flow and ignition to take place. Later models use rolling codes or advanced cryptography to defeat copying of the code from the key or ECU. You do not state the year or your location. So see if you are in one of the areas above. The new style of Immobilizer is very hard to bypass. Make sure she is using the main key to try and start it. If the lock out is engaged the engine will spin but she will not fire. Is this what is happening? If the engine is not turning there may be a master cut off switch under the dash, I have installed one of these on my older car to save the battery, look for a large switch under the dash or seat. Look for a switch that looks out of place or out of the ordinary for the vehicle interior. Hope this Helps FixYa Up.
