At least a blown head gasket. That's a lot cheaper to fix than cracked block/head.

SOURCE: 2003 L200 2.2 ecotec w/ crack in head

the crack is possibly in a oil pressure gally and that would by why there is pressure behind it. there is no fix and this engine is not notorious for this problem. if the engine has low miles i would just replace the cyl head.

SOURCE: drilled hole in intake manifold at upper radiator outlet

Did the bolt break off flush with the top of the hole? or if you remove the cover is some bolt sticking up? if there is try and use vice grips to get ahold if the bolts if it is flush then drill the bolt out and re-tap the hole. Way cheaper and likely less work too...

Water get into oil

Water in oil makes the oil go grey / milky or white . Check the cooling system by a pressure test and if it is holding then it will not be water in the oil.. If you are referring to transmission oil then the tan colour indicates burnt oil, and must be replaced. Water in that oil will also be a white cherry/ milky colour.

Oil a tan waterly color

Tan color... or creamy color is kind of a bad thing... But, before I panicked, I would change the oil and filter and start from a new beginning.... IF, after running it for a day or two, you again have a problem, you are somehow getting water or engine coolant into your motor oil.. and that can happen several different ways..... and most of the ways are "bad"... Good luck...

How do you know which head or gasget is blown/

Try this to see if helps you figure this out. Try filling up the radiator with water. Start your engine with the radiator cap off look for bubbles the bigger the bubbles the worse the leak. Look for tan colored oil on the dipstick. When oil mixes with water it turn a creamy tan color.

I have a 02 Chevy tahoe....it sounds like coolant rushing throughout the engine while sitting at an idle and about every 2 or 3 days I gotta add coolant its not much also the low coolant light comes on...

I would perform a coolant pressure test because these engines are known for leaking intake manifold gaskets.Check and see if your oil is starting to turn a creamy tan color.

Loosing anti freeze 2001 tauras did pressure and head gasket check both passed what can it be

I own a 2001 Ford Taurus and two years ago it was losing anti freeze also. Found out that the plastic recovery tank located in front of right strut mount on fender well, had a small stress crack. It only leaked when engine was at opperating temperature. If that is not the solution, check all your spark plugs for a green-ish or yellow-ish color you have a cracked head. If they all have a light tan to dark tan color (on the white porcelin) you're good. One final check would be the crankcase oil. If the oil on the dip stick has a creamy look to it then your leak is in the intake manifold and also if the oil is oddly over full. If all these inspections turn up good you then have a external leak and need to have the engine at opperating temperature and park it on a clean surface over night. Inspect the engine compartment, engine and the floor with a LED flashlight not a regular bulb flashlight. The LED light will make the antifreeze slightly glow. If the heater core is leaking, the antifreeze will run out the air conditioning condensation drain hose, check with LED light.

There is a white creamy substance around the oil cap what would cause this

The white creamy solution is oil mixed with water. Take out your dipstick and check for the same substance, if so, you have a blown head gasket. If not, it's just condensed water in your valve cover that mixes with the oil, witch isn't really a problem. Have a nice day!

The coolant jug has a creamy tan color fluid in it

that means trans fluid or engine oil is getting into cooant system. Not good. Either a leaky trans cooler in the radiator or a blown head gasket. Hope it's the trans cooler

My 2002 Mitsubishi Galant has 145,000 miles. While driving it started to shake, ****, and almost stall out, but not completley. It feels okay until you put the car in gear. When you open the oil cap there...

sounds like you have a blown head gasket or either a broken piston ring. Check oil to see if it looks milky or creamy colored if so you have water and oil mixing.
