Some of the CRANKS are beneath the floor/wall covering, near the other tire tools in a small BAG.

How to remove spare tire on a 1993 ford ranger

Take out the jack and its other tools from the store point between the rear seats. One of these tools is an extension bar with a flattened hook at one end. Use the other extension bar with the hole at one end to make the hook section longer. Use the Lug wrench through the hole to create a crank handle.
At the rear of the ranger, in the middle, look between the bottom of the tail gate flap and the top of the bumper. Above the licence plate. There should be a hole hidden there. Push the flat hook into the hole and turn Counter clockwise. It should notch into position and then the spare will start to lower itself from underneath.
It uses a cable so keep lowering until the cable goes slack. The slack cable allows you to unhook the 'T' piece the wheel hangs on.
To rehang the wheel. Rest the rim, outside face upper most, and hook the 'T' bar through the centre of the rim. Use the flat hook crank and turn it Clockwise. Once the tyre has sat into position, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE CABLE!! Turn till tight then leave it.

How to take a spare tire off gmc envoy 2004

Since the spare is mounted under the rear of the car, Its not easy...you have to assemble the long crank rod out of its two pieces, then feed the rod through the hole in the top of the rear bumper and lock it into the mechanism that holds the tire in place. Once the crank rod is locked in, lower the tire towards the ground. Once the tire is low enough, you can crawl under the car and release the tire from its mount. The hardest part is locking the crank rod into the spare tire mechanism through the hole in the bumper.

Where is the spare on a 95 ford windstar

it should be right behind your rear bumper up under your van. The way it is removed is to take your tire iron extension bars that should have come with your vehicle and assemble them. then you should see a hole near your license plate tag or somewhere on your bumper to stick the rod in ( sometimes the hole has a lock that your ignition key should unlock) then you turn the crank handle and lower down your tire.

Get spare down

Lift up carpet in the back cargo area, there's usually an access hole to put a tool on to crank it down. Look where your jack is located the tool should be with it & possibly instructions as well! Good Luck!

How to take off a spare tire off an expedition

Under the hood there is a long turning bar attached. Remove the bar and proceed to the rear of the vehicle. Open the rear door and locate a hole near the rear bumper, insert tapered end of bar in hole and align with slight turning motion until you feel a resistance. Rotate bar counterclockwise in which this will start to lower the spare tire from underneth the rear of the vehicle.

Hope I gave adequate instructions.

Eric.

The tools are under the second row seats. The hole for the spare tire lowering mech. is above the rear bumper when you lift the tail gate. Put the proper tool down the hole, turn counter clockwise, lowers spare. Reverse to bring up.

How to remove the spare tire on 2001 Chevy Blazer

if the vehicles spare is located under the rear cargo area then there may be a hole located in the rear bumper next to the license plate. if the vehicle is equipped like that then there should be a few straight bars that attach together to form a long bar. this bar is then inserted into this hole and mated with a joint witch is connected to a pully system that raises and lowers the tire. if this didnt make any sense or if it is totally wrong then you could consult the owners manual. all of the necessary procedures are in that book.
