Some times things drop in the blower fan. Usually you have to replace the blower. Bearings wear out.

When I turn on the A/C or the heater in my my 1995 Regal a sound is made like the fan blades are brushing against something. I believe something fell against the fan. Any idea how to access the fan?

The fan cage(blades) are bad,you will have to replace the squirrel cage, and you may have to buy it as a whole unit to get the squirrel cage.If this was at all helpful, please rate thank you.

The heater fann was only running on high, making a pinging noise for quite awhile, and now the fan dosen't work at all.Could you tell me what the problem might be?

That pinging noise is trash in your fan box which is hitting the squirrel cage fan. You most likely have a bind on your fan due to leaf debris or other trash. Here is a video detailing how to replace or repair it yourself.

Air conditioner/heater does not work. It hums but no air comes out.

Hard to say exactly, but it sounds like you may have debris in the squirrel cage for the blower and has stopped it or the squirrel cage came off and the motor is running. Is air coming out anywhere?
