If the mirror housing is in place, Have one cut to fit. Glue it in. If the housing is broken, replace all of it. You can't fix a broken side mirror. Tried to many times.

check owners manual the side mirror housing has to be removed before you can replace leds lights on side mirror.you can look on you tube for procedures replacing side mirror leds lights inside mirror.
i just replaced the passenger side on mine and this is what i did.
1. on the back side of the mirror housing is a half moon shaped plastic piece. gently remove that from the housing, exposing a portion of the back side of the mirror.
2. disconnect the two wires (remember rt and lf). carefully, with a pry tool, apply pressure on the center of the back side of the mirror, it will pop loose.
3. once the mirror is off there should be a round plastic piece attached to the back side of the mirror. on the passenger side there is a tab in the upper left side. lift up on the tab and slide the plastic piece down...it should slide off.
4. once you have the plastic piece off it goes on the back of the new mirror in the opposite way. you line up the four cross tabs and slide the mirror up until the tab grabs it.
5. put the mirror back in the housing by lining the circle (on back side center of mirror plate) with the center of the mirror housing. genlty apply pressure on the center of the mirror (i had to hit it firmly with the palm of my hand) unitl it snaps into place.
6. once it snaps into place you can reconnect the two wires to the back of the mirror and install the back side plastic housing......DONE
Removal & Installation
The door outside mirrors are stud mounted to the door filler. The mirror glass face may be replaced by placing a piece of tape over the glass then breaking the mirror face. Adhesive back mirror faces are available. Left side flat and right side convex mirror faces must be replaced with the same type mirror face when surfaced.
Remove the door trim panel.
Remove the upper trim panel.
Remove the sound absorber.
Remove the (3) nuts.
Remove the control cable from the upper trim panel.
Remove the filler and mirror.
To install:
Place the filler over the studs on the mirror.
Install the control cable through the filler and connect to the upper trim panel.
Install the (3) retaining nuts and tighten to 42-72 inch lbs. (4.7-8.1 Nm).
Install the sound absorber, upper trim panel and trim panel.
the door panel near the mirror must be removed if not the entire door panel inside u will find 3 nuts to remove to get the old mirror off. hope this helps please rate me
