Yes air fuel ratio out but also timing out low tire pressure ,dragging brakes , weak spark, make sure vacuum advance from distributor is hooked to the port on carb that draws vacuum when given throttle

A lead foot will do it..But seriously sounds like the carb is continuously dumping gas in the motor. Have you noticed it smoking while driving. It almost for sure is in the carburator.

SOURCE: fuel gauge problem

sending unit on the fuel pump in the tank is stuck, and needs to be replaced. its expensive, but that will fix your issue. its the housing around the pump that has the float arm on it. you can try to free the float arm by removing your pump assembly, but cant guarantee its any good after being stuck

I have a 1997 chevy silverado with a 350 in it. After going 20 to 30 miles with the air conditioner on it startes to run rough it is getting to much gas if you give it a lot of gas it starts to run ok but...

If it is actually getting too much fuel, the injector or injectors are staying on too long. They are controlled by the ECM so nothing to do with the ignition system.
Another possible cause is a bad fuel pressure regulator. But none of this should be connected to the a/c.
Very strange.
