The problem is your carburetor needs to be rebuilt .
If you have the 2.8 L Its the 2150 2-v witch is most likely seeing you have a F150 . The 20L uses the YFA 1-V 1 barrel .
They did use throttle body fuel injection but not many of the had it
The kit is 30 dollars for the carb .
It can be done in under an hour and back on the manifold.
I will give you sombody to call if you need parts for this vehicle LCM trucks 1800-562-8782 .Not for the carb kit you can get that at any auto store .But parts are hard to get like AB valves witch you likely need to its all comtroled by air vacuum and that thing that looks like an old can of tomato juice is a vacuum resiveior make sure it dosn't have rust holes in it or you don't stand a chance
