Question about Cars & Trucks
You cannot turn the light off, the lights are letting you know that there is some thing wrong with the car and not to drive it unless the service man tell you its okay, the only way to remove or turn off the light is to have cen-tech trilangual code reader that will clear the warning signal.

Speed Sensitive Power Steering
(SSPS) Warning Light
Your vehicle is equipped with Speed Sensitive Power Steering (SSPS).
This is a computer-controlled power steering assist system.
The warning light you are describing will come on briefly when you turn the ignition to ON as a check to show you the bulb is working.
Then it should go out after a few seconds. If the warning light does not come on, have it fixed so it will be able to warn you if there is a problem.
If the warning light stays on, or comes on while you are driving, the SSPS system may not be working.
Your computer will need to be scanned to determine what the problem is with your SSPS system.
