tps sensor, air intake tube or box not sealed or mass air flow sensor bad connection, try unpluging and pluging back in and electrical plug you see on top of motor, do this with key and engine off, is check engine light on?
How long has it been since you changed the spark plugs or had a tune-up? It could be a faulty wire to the spark plug that has come lose or a bad plug. Does the check engine service light come on?
Have you checked out your air filter? Has your 02 GMC Envoy had a tuneup? Also you may need to replace your fuel filter as well. (especially if you drive in a dusty area) A vehicle as new as yours still needs preventive maintainence to keep the "new" parts working properly. While this won't stop the components from eventually breaking down and causing you headaches, its still a good idea to check these things.
any timing or misfire problems with the plugs? If not you fuel injectors may need to be cleand and or replaced....it bogs down because too much air is being introduced in to the system. A ballance of air fuel mixture is what makes an engine run properly. Cleaning the injectors is a little time consuming but worth the gas milage in the end and the extended lif of you car without costly repairs down the road by not repairing it know.
