250 ninja kawasaki 1995 leaking oil from right piston, not to mush , but leak ing. i know its the oil ring, but i dont wana dissmbly my engien. the oil come from the little holl in the left size of the engien., its the drain of water from the spark plugs comparment. icheck the gaskets really well, but im sure the oil come from across de spark plug tredh.
Okay first thing you want to do is clean pretty well around where it's leaking oil that way you can detect where it's actually coming from but you think it might be coming from a spark plug when you pull the plug out some of them have a little washer that is made to crush down and help with the sealing. I would just buy a new spark plug and make sure you tighten it down good not too tight and put some anti seize on the threads and that could also help with Sealing so if the other plug isn't leaking try to guesstimate how much tension it takes to loosen it and then do the one that's leaking to compare maybe it just needs to be tightened up but I would get a new one so that way you have a new washer to help seal so I would try that make sure you clean it all off so you can find exactly where it's coming from though. Also take a little flashlight look down in the threads where the plug went make sure there's good threads. in there You said something about it leaking out a little hole if you find that then clean it up really good use of sandpaper little bit and then put epoxy J-B Weld that works good for Sealing rubbing alcohol or Windex helps to prep it on the cases I've done it, works well

well this is an expensive repair as such because of the time involved,a reputable garage would check the clutch and gearbox spigot shaft as a matter of course but the seal can only be reached by removal of everything ,if its just a small drip then have it done as and when the clutch needs replacing is the best advice i can give, adding a leak sealer for engines could help as it makes the seal soft again but if the end of the crank is worn then no ,but it could work and often does.and its not that expensive if it saves you a lot of work for now.As for mileage well treat it as a guide only as mileage tampering still goes on and you will never know weither its the garage or a previous owner who didnt want to lose money.but make sure you check oil level in gearbox in case its leaking out of spigot shaft seal .engine oil smells like engine oil but gearbox oil stinks trust me ,trying to get it when it drips up your arms ,,,,.Also as a matter of course check the engine breather as evan a slight blockage here will increase back pressure in engine causing it to leak oil .How long to remove ,,well about 3 hrs roughly if all the bolts come undone on the suspension an hour or so to change seal and check over maybe evan pushing seal in or out a bit to miss wear on crank if any, rebuilding with a strong lad to assist in alignment and moving about another 2/3 hours if it all goes well with no complications .

When you buy the valve cover set, it will include the spark plug well "O" rings. Simply remove the valve cover and on the underside of the valve cover, you'll see the "O" rings that need replaced and you'll see exactly how the valve cover gasket itself fits.

Check out your freeze plugs. They are thin metal cups that press fit into the side of the block. Use a mirror and a light to inspect while the engine is running.

By "oil ring" do you mean the oil ring on the piston (resulting in burned oil) or do you mean a rubber 'O' ring between the head and cylinder or cylinder and case?
