Question about 2000 Nissan Maxima
Apparently something is blocked. I am unable to get my ac working. the heat remains on all the time even though every thing is turned off the heat still comes out
Check for a stuck open coolant valve to the heater core. check for an air flap that is stuck open too . thanks.

If you havent already try to change the transmission filter.Sometimes when the filter gets dirty fluid pressure is comprimised and certain pumps and solenoids which control shifting inside the transmission function off of the fluid pressure,

yeh its located under the passenger side glove box,its in the heater box beside the heater motor ,,2 scews hold it in and it looks like a credit card when its out,,,,

lol, i think it is that your dimmer switch is all the way down or bad. as simple as it seems, that is really what it sounds like. try messing with it.

Hi there, very common on these vehicles, you need to remove the heater cotrols and check that the cable hasn't come out, usually the clips that hold the cables in place break causing the heaters to not work properly, Nissan do modified clips now to stop it from happening, it may need a cable too if its too far bent, hope this helps.
