You could have burnt the engine up. Put a wrench/ socket to the crank bolt. See if it turns.

Why wont car start after overheating"?"

rings loose tension, compression is lost. . have a compression test done to check condition of engine basically when an engine has been overheated and will not start it indicates that a replace engine is required.

Overheated and wont start

Depending on the severity of the overheat, I would suspect the engine may be hydrolocked. I would remove the spark plugs and then try to crank engine. If will then crank over, coolant coolant may emerge from spark plug holes. In which case internal engine damage is likely. ie head gasket, or cracked head/block.

Car overheated very fast, now there is a leak and the car wont start, could it be the water pump or is it more serious

Well it would depend on why the engine won't start.
If it overheated and the head gasket blew out, you may not have enough compression to start the engine.
A water pump leak would not prevent the engine from starting.

1990 prelude si wont start battery is good plugs are good d-cap is good it overheated and died i managed to get it started and now it wont start could it be my thermostat is bad?

If you overheated it, and then drove it long enough that the engine died, Your engine hay have a bad head gasket, or the engine is now bad. .fill up the coolant in the radiator (water) leave the cap off, and try to crank the engine up, if it tries to push the water out, the engine is bad. A bad thermostat isnt going to keep it from running, although it may be bad also.

bad news about those little engines is that the heads are not serviceable if overheated

you may have seized the engine

start by pulling the spark plugs and see if you can turn the engine over

Overheating, smoking and dying.now it ont start at

What is overheating ? Engine or tranny? You said you put tranny fluid in, but not in the engine right? Engine sounds like it is toast. Is there any abnormal look to the engine oil on the dipstick? Are you losing coolant?
If you add coolant with engine NOT hot, and watch the radiator fill spout with engine started and warming up, do you see water gurgling?
Do a compression test.
