You need to take a close look at this .Jack up the wheel so its off the ground .See if moves at all side to side or up and down it should NOT MOVE .
It could have come lose you say you bought it recently so you don't know .Your not going to die because of this but what it could do is a lot of damage to the shaft that this bearing is spinning on called the spindle..
If I wore you remove the bearings bolth sides check the brake pads rotors and calipers .
The way you can tell if a tapered roller bearing is bad is to look for the rollers turning blue this means they have over heated and distorded .
The bearings are cheap compaired to the spindle or CV joint

The sound will gradually get louder until it bothers you. It can also gradually scar the shaft or bearing race, and make it more costly to get fixed.

The first clue is that it makes a noise. If so jack up the wheel and rotate it by hand to see if you feel or hear anything. The final test is to remove the bearing, clean it in gas and inspect the rollers for marks.

Testimonial: "Tank you very much. I brought my car to my mechanic, whom i trust, to have something else done. When he took the car for a ride, he said he heard a noise front left that sounds like a wheel bearing. He took me for a ride and I didn't detect any noise that I haven't heard before. Of course, I don't know how it's supposed to sound like. He said it was a low humming sound. If it is that, should I fix it immediately. Is it dangerous to drive?"

2wd front wheel need to replace bearings or hub assembly which is best

A Front Wheel Drive Vehicle Can Have Two Types Of Rear Wheel Bearings: Serviceable Bearings, Or Nonserviceable, Sealed Bearings. When Sealed Bearings Fail, The Bolts Holding The Bearing And Hub To The Axel Or Control Arm Must Be Removed. When Installing The New Bearing Assembly, Torque The Bolts To Specifications. Some Manufacturers require The Use Of New Fasteners When Rear Bearings And Hubs Are Replaced.

When A Serviceable Wheel Bearing Is Used, The Bearing Can Be Disassembled And Packed With Grease. It Is Serviced Like A Front Wheel Bearing On A Rear-wheel-Drive-Car.

Replacing front wheel bearings

It isn't a particularly hard job but there are a few techniques that you need to know.
I wouldn't recommend you do it yourself but I would recommend you do it under supervision of someone who knows their stuff.
Retensioning the bearings correctly is extremely important.

Wheel bearing replacement left front wheel Hello Everyone, I may need to replace the wheel bearing on my right front wheel of my Corolla wagon. How can I know for sure? And how can I find out how to do...

Diagnosing the bearings can be tricky depending on severity of wear. Typically - drone noise at highway speeds, squeeling, clicking or grinding noises at low speeds that reduce during braking, or pull off the wheel and brake assembly and check the bearing for slack or smoothness of rotation by hand. While doing this, check the brake assembly thoroughly - generally a more likely culprit of wheel noise.

Wheel bearing replacement is not for the novice backyard mech. - you will need pullers, press, etc. If you can get a rebuilt assembly - much easier.
