How do I repair code 14 1991 ls 400

how have you arrived at this diagnosis ? it could be a number of things , have you had the OBD codes read ? i would always exchange correct parts unless the manufacturer claims the other is a direct replacement , or you will be in even more trouble if it does'nt work quite right , these things work off of milli amp power, anything to high/low can have effects

Battery loses charge after 3 days of sitting why does this happen?

Only proper testing will give you the answer

Start pulling fuses & see if you can kill the
circuit that is responsible

You will need a volt meter & use in Milli Amps,
to watch the current draw as you remove fuses

The doors have to remain closed or you power up the
delay relays & have to wait for them to go to sleep about 15
min later, to start your testing over

Pretty much need a wiring diagram as you need to know
what is in the circuit if you find the problem at some point

Your current flow should be around 40 to 70 Milli-Amp
More your battery dies over night or a couple days

You always power the radio clock, & computer Keep
Alive Memory

1998 k1500 chevy pickup wiring diagram

Get a wiring diagram off a data base at
local repair shop

.78 amps is 780 milli amps

You should only have about 40 milli-amps tops,
when everything is sleeping

My Everstart Maxx Jump Starter 500 amp will not charge and it beeps every 5 seconds unless I pull out the fuse? What is the problem?

I don't think they read the problem right. His charger will not hold a charge, not the car. I'm having the same problem. My charge will not charge when I plug it up to a outlet.

My 97 Lesabre is draining the battery overnight. The battery is new, if i disconnect it the car starts fine when reconnected. there doesn't appear to be any lights or anything on. The car has IPM (?)...

Put an AMP Meter in series with either battery cable
& pull fuses one at a time until you find the circuit that
isn't timing out or going to sleep.

Should only have 35 to 45 milli-amps after 20 mins

So wait 20 mins then start with the fuses, if over 50 milli-amp

Battery in Jeep Grand Cherokee dead this am and less than 1 year old. I have a Everstart 100 battery charger plugged in and on the car. How long does it take to charge the battery. The charger is plugged...

How many amps does this charger put out????
A small trickle charger will take forever to fully recharge a dead battery, you'll need to have a battery charger that can put out enough amps to properly charge a dead battery. To clarify, the chargers sold at Sears, the large square types on wheels are the best for charging dead batteries and they also have an amp meter telling you how much the battery is accepting. After you charge your battery, you should be around 12.5 volts to 12.7 volts. DO NOT OVER CHARGE!!!

1999 explorer stock subwoofer

I would be very proud of that truck as the sub that came with the truck was only a 8". The only one that works is the factory model as it is a 1 1/2 - 2 ohm speaker; replacements are 4ohm. You will have to replace the amp as well if you put in an aftermarket sub. Oh and apparently the amp will have to have "speaker level" inputs as opposed to pre-amp inputs. I have a 1999 Eddie Bauer wih a blown sub and I'm trying to decide what to do as well. The speaker is $400 with tax in Canada! Good luck.
