creaking sound is probably caused by dried suspension bushings in front end usually lower control arm bushings but wouldn't explain vibration you said it vibrates as soon as you start it meaning in neutral/park ? or as soon as the car is in motion ?

  • Anthony Kermond Apr 23, 2015

As soon as I start it up in park. . And it also has a really bad hesitation when I drive it. . And how I fix the bushings? . . . Better yet how do I fix all of it. . Lol

And when its in motion. .

Sounds like a broken flywheel Rotate the engine back and forth and listen for a click when you rotate the engine back and forth with the engine off. If it continues see if you can take the flywheel inspection cover off and shine a light up toward the center bolts and look for a crack.

And what is and where abouts would the flywheel b?. . Cause the engine is a east west motor. . Front wheel drive. .

SOURCE: Maxima - terrible vibrations in low speed

A bad tire, a loose wheel, a loose tie rod end, a bent rim, (tire balance at higher speeds), a piece of rust or whatever caught between the rim and brake rotor, or between the brake rotor and hub. Have you done anything to it prior to this starting?

I had this issue and it was one of my winter tires about to blow out, showing signs of weakness.. hopefully this helps!

SOURCE: Front end vibration at between 70-80kms

A common solution is the tires. I know that sounds too easy but I had the exact same problem. My Dad told me tires. That was hard to swallow since all 4 tires were less than a year old. It was the style of tire on the car. He is a mechanic and I did what he said and it went away. O it could be a bent rim or a bad front wheel bearing. I've seen both

SOURCE: Vibrating badly and lunges forward at 30 mph

Check your rear motor mount (the dog bone mount). While you're at it, might as well check your other two mounts, got brand new tires ? ran over a curb or anything lately? if so could have a bent wheel

start with tires; rotate them front to back

then check suspension components; anything loose will cause shimmy of any kind

brake rotors can be warped as well

1999 S10 4CYLINDER ENGINE VIBRATION

Im sure you have a harmonic balancer. Its the pulley on the crank. If you look at it closely you'll see the thin layer of rubber. If the engine vibrates throughout its normal rpm range when idling or driving it could be a vacuum leak, and it is possible to have two plug wires reversed and have the engine run. Where the timing gears lined up, exactly? Maybe you just built a monster engine!

if you jack it up both ends off the ground, using axle stands to support it,then start it,put in gear and take it up to the vibrate point.you can get someone to carefully look underneath, and at the wheels,to see if any thing vibrating.DONT REV IT TOO MUCH.it might fall off the stands

If your car can get up to 30 MPH or more it is not your fuel filter. You need to check your Idle Air Control VAlve and your EGR valve. Also while you are in there go ahead and check your air filter and make sure it is not clogged very bad for some reason
