The first thing to do is to have the fault codes read
repair/ replace any faulty sensors indicated
check the air filter, tyre pressures, load and speeds

The car you are driving has a 45/L tank if the car uses 9.7L of gas per 100km how many times will i have to fill up if im travelling 3592km and im starting with a full tank

7.74 fill ups if you stop on dead empty every time more likely 9-10 fill ups. Mileage varies with speed and traffic conditions but at ideal mileage the vehicle will consume approx. 350 L

Gas gauge does not always work

I believe you are in the years that the manufacturer changed the sending unit plugs. New pumps come with the plug. If it were me, I would figure out the gas mileage, keep gas in it. And get a one gallon gas container keep it full and keep it in the truck. Until the pump died. These aren't cheap to replace.

Loss of power, hesitation, bad gas mileage

Clean the MAF sensor. Could also need a tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter. Could also have a stopped up catalic converter that needs to be replaced.

I have been logging my gas mileage on my Jeep Grand Cherokee for the last 9 years. My jeep has a Straight 6 cylinder motor, that has given me about 17mpg city and 23 mpg highway. This last summer my jeep...

I would start by pulling a spark plug and looking at condition. With that kind of mileage, has it ever had a valve job? Valve's burn and valve springs get weak, could have a carbon problem. Also compare the brands of fuel you're using, many have changed their formulas - I've noticed it with my own cars. Also have your mechanic do a compression test.

2002 chevy blazer fuel consumption

Usually when it comes to bad gas mileage, an air filter change, fresh oil and filter, fuel filter and making sure you have no vacuum leaks....

Also, believe it or not, improper tire pressure will affect your gas mileage.

New spark plugs and wires are a "nicety" but if there is not damage to them, then they will be fine.

BAD ON GAS

You should be getting close to 360-390...depending on the type of driving you are doing. Increasing your gas mileage could be as simple as getting a fresh oil and filter job, change your air filter, change your fuel filter...and a biggie believe it or not, make sure you have the proper tire pressure. This will kill your mileage faster than anything else.

City MPG: 16-18 mpg
Combination MPG: 18-21
Highway MPG: Approximately 26 mpg
