Removed my car battery for a few minutes, but now my central locking doesnt respond, even if imanualy lock using the key it will only lock the front doors living the back passanger doors unlocked

Unhook the battery and connect both cables together for a second. Then try again. If that does not work then you need to replace the body control module.

did you replace battery in remote fob, and do you keys have integrated circuits -- if so replace batteries.

Go through the sequence carefully.

Opening the drivers door doesnt automatically open the passangers door

Some vehicle locking systems allow a single button press to unlock the driver's side door and require a second button press to unlock the passenger side door. Likewise, use of the key to unlock the driver's side door does not automatically unlock the passenger side.

1995 ford futura doors wont lock

Inside the door is an electric motor that pulls the door lock down to the locked position, either the rod has come off to the door latch from the door lock motor or the motor has failed. Remove the door panel and check it for power when the button is pressed for the power locks, if it gets power then it is most likely the motor that is the problem.

Have a 2004 Chevy Venture van with faulty power door locks. They will lock with the switch but will not unlock with the switch. Need schematics of the power door lock system. Thanks.

I don't have a solution, but a related problem. Our 2004 Chevy Venture power door locks are cycling (locking/unlocking) on their own while we are driving. This coincides with our remote keyless entry losing its effectiveness. I tried replacing the battery on the remote, but to no avail.

easy- close all doors, put key in drivers side door first, then lock/unlock 3 times, then go to passanger side, lock/unlock 3 times and thats it!
