You are much more likely to get a useful answer if you start out with the make, model, and engine type, otherwise, how do we know what engine "this" means?

Will a 2003 3.7l Jeep motor swap with the same motor from a 2004? Jeep liberty

auto or stick shift??????
the EKG engine it is.
are you talking just a long block swap using all original
manifolds and all sensors.?

why not look it up.?
at jeep.com
or at Hollanders, call the wrecking yard, they use this service
they can tell tell you what fits. and not by year,
or they'd go broke fast.
the 3.7 is not only used on this one car, why limit self.?
my 2010 WK has it.

facts (to avoid issues) history of the block.
In 2005, the 3.7 engine was treated to numerous economy and idle-quality changes, with a new cam profile, lash adjusters, rings, and a 9.7:1 compression ratio.

seems 02 to 09 works for sure.
not withstanding cam and CR issues, fooling your ECU.

now jeep real, this the real p/n of said engine.
R2637056AB
you look it up online at jeeps. see what it fits.

1989 3 door golf gti cam belt gone/snapped

If it's a 16v motor, you probably are going to have some bent valves. The 16v motor is an interference fit motor. I would check to see if the cams are seized up. If not, the belt just wore out and broke.

Will a single cam moter work in a 1999 isuzu that had a DOHC

Simple answer: No. The engine may fit, after replacing the motor mounts, but the electronics and wiring harnesses are completely different.

I have a 97 2.4l twin cam in 2001 will it work

It will work as long as you have the ECM to match the Motors. The regular 2.2 has a different engine management system then the 2.4 so the engine will fit but the ECM needs to understand the engine.
Good luck and hope this helps.

Need timing belt markings to set timing

you need a cam timing tool to put at end of cams to align them and you need TDC @ #1 this motor has variable exhaust cam timing fed by oil press. the tool is just a flat piece of metal that fits in the groves in the back of the cam's their is a very technical procedure involved in this one I would recommend buying a good manual and reading up before attempting this if gone bad could be disaster

Timing zx2 escort TDC ?

The cams have a notch in the back of them (facing driver's side) in which fits a flat piece of steel to lock the cams in place. The notches are not exactly centered on the camshaft, meaning that it's impossible to set them 180 degrees out, because then the flat piece of steel that is supposed to be inserted to lock the cams in place simply won't fit because the top of the cylinder head will get in the way. I highly recommend getting a Hayne's or Chiltons manual if you don't already have one. It should explain this process under the Timing Belt Replacement instructions. The cam lock tool (that flat piece of steel) can be purchased at ZXturner.com:
