You must mean PO100 .It has to do with a problem a sensor called MAF or VAF mass air or vehicle air flow sensor .
Its expensive but vary important basicly its the first sensor in the system tells the computer how much air is comeing into the engine.
It is easy to change its located in the air duct usely near the air filter .You can also try cleaning it they sell a spray can of cleaner you spray on them but unless there is like a leaf or something like that blocking it usealy dosn't fix the problem.
.One good thing you get a big recore for this part 75 to 100 dollars so make sure you bring it with you if you need a new one

Another possibility is an OBD monitor concern occurred before complete of an OBD drive cycle

P1000 ford

The P1000 DTC code is a manufacturer specific code. In the case of Ford vehicles, it simply means that the OBD-II monitor testing is not complete.to try to erase this code take off your positive battery cable wait for at least 5 mins and reconnect cable

if code comes back do another pcm scan and make sure it completes most parts stores can do a scan for you with no charge ...i.e. advance ,auto zones , oriellys I know do for free

P1000 trouble code

means that the OBD-II monitor testing is not complete.

Potential causes of a P1000 include:
The battery or PCM has been disconnected
The diagnostic trouble codes have been cleared

You can ignore this code and it should go away as part of normal driving.

P1506 code on my 1999 ford ranger

Here is a link to a page of codes for Ford. I say that but with the OBD-II you should have in your model the codes should be the same for all makes and models Per Uncle Sam.

http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ford/

your specific code indicates an Idle Air Control Over Speed Error this doesnt mean that there is a problem with the sensor although there cold be a problem with it. It means something made the sensor not work correctly. Dont go replacing parts at random. I did this with my 89 f150 and spent hundreds in parts for a plugged injector. Go figure.

Hope this helps... Dale

Wats the code p1000 on my 2002 jaguar x type

P1000 JAGUAR - On Board Diagnostic System Readiness Test Not Complete, this is known as the OBD2 drive cycle.

Possible causes - The vehicle is new from the factory.
- Battery or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) had recently been disconnected.
- An OBD monitor failure occurred before completion of an OBD drive cycle.
- PCM Detected Trouble Codes (DTC) have recently been cleared with a scan tool.
When is the code detected? If DTC P1000 is triggered after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD diagnostic monitor drive cycles have not been cleared. P1000 JAGUAR Description The On Board Diagnostic (OBD) monitors are performed during the OBD Drive Cycle. P1000 is stored in continuous memory if any of the OBD monitors do not carry out their full diagnostic check.

My scan tool says p1000 when i look up the codes on my f150 just woundering what p1000 is

Hello, my name is Ben. Here is the short answer: P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete
P1000 will be set anytime there is any interruption of power to the PCM. This action could be but is not limited to, changing the battery, clearing history codes, or reprogramming the PCM. If there are no other codes stored the P1000 will clear itself after several "driving cycles". I hope this helps you, Ben.

Fault code P1000 [18,2,10,0],Ford Fiesta 2005

P1000 means that you or someone has disconnected the battery, and the car has not been driven far / long enough for the computer to relearn its stratagies.
Engine light could be the fault of the speed sensor, or wiring to the sensor.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE P1000 CODE MEANS FOR A 1999 FORD F-150 PICK UP TRUCK

P1000 means a drive cycle has not completed, it will only clear itself after driving the vehicle through certain driving conditions. If you try to clear the code, it will reappear until you repeat the drive cycle. I am not too familiar with what AE will show, but if you can access Mode 6 data or the OBD Drive Cycle(These are two options from the IDS at Ford), It may help to show what tests have either failed or not completed. Heres what must be done to clear the P1000:

Note: The IAT PID must be between 10-38°C (50-100° F) during the OBD II drive cycle to enter into all the OBD II monitors. The FLI PID must be between 15% and 85% at all times.

Drive in stop-and-go traffic with at lease 4 idle periods (30 seconds each) while observing the status of the OBD II monitor on the scan tool. If the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), heated oxygen sensor (HO2S), evaporative emission (EVAP), secondary air (AIR) (if applicable) or catalyst efficiency monitor have not completed, drive on the highway at a constant speed over 64 km/hr (40 mph) not to exceed 104 km/hr (65 mph) for up to 15 minutes. Heavy accelerations, sudden decelerations and wide open throttles are not recommended. If the scan tool sends out a three pulse beep at any time, the OBD II drive cycle has completed.

If there is only one certain component that hasn't completed its test, there are individual driving conditions to help those tests pass or fail if something is wrong.
