No. Turbo charged engines have been designed to have the turbo. The turbo uses exhaust gas to spin a dual air compressor to push additional air into the intake, without it the car probably won't even run. There are numerous electronics monitoring pressures and temperatures. Sorry turbo has to be fixed for car to run properly.

SOURCE: I have a 2003 Saab 9-3 Turbo convertible, I have replaced the coil pack, the battery, starter, fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, spark plugs & more, the engine cranks like nobodys busines
First you must check what the engine don t has...spark!? So if you replaced the cassette, you must check fuses and so on. If you don t see fuel pressure and you replaced the pump...fuses, control for the relay and power to the relay. Check injector pulse, engine compression is OK? Engine light is on with ignition on?! If not, check some others engine sensors have power...if not you must test ECM!?
