Hello,
This message does not really cover the if light if it was coming on by itself. If the oil light came on alone the you have to see if it's the sender or the wiring but, if all the warning lights are coming on at the same time it is usually indicative that the alternator is not putting out enough to keep the battery charged.

Easy to check. Using a volt meter or similar tool check the voltage at the battery when the vehicle is off. Then start the vehicle and check the battery volts again. The voltage has to be at least 1- 1/2 volts higher or the alternator is either not charging or there is a wiring issue. The latter seldom is the problem.

Good luck,
Vinnie

Flickering Oil LIght

Have you checked your oil level? How long since you have had it changed and a new filter installed? if both these things are good you either have a bad Oil Pressure Sending unit or a bad Oil Pump. I would bet on the Sending Unit.

If the check gauges light come on it refers to charging system, oil pressure, and engine temperature. So check the oil level, and you will need to know if the pressure is good. cooling system are you loosing coolant and is the radiator full, battery is the system getting charged. P1684 - Less than 50 Key On's.
P0302 - Misfire at Cylinder #2
P1493 - Ambient/Battery Temperature Sensor Input voltage too low.
Oil Light with the correct oil level = Oil Pressure/Sending Sensor.

Check gauge light can come on for a number of different things, from Low fuel to low oil pressure to high engine temperatures. When the light comes on check all the gauge's and see whats causing it, one or more of the gauge's will be showing an issue, Low fuel or low oil pressure, Low battery power. Any of the mentioned things can cause it... Figure out whats causing it then you can remedy the situation...

Brake light, oil temperature light and battery light are on

Wow, 3 problems, did the lights come on one at a time or all at once? How long has each been on? 1st thing is to check fluid levels-brake, & oil. You may damage the vehicle if you continue to drive it. The brake light means a malfunction in the system, or low brake fluid. If the level is low, adding should turn the light off. You then need to check to see where the system is leaking. Oil temp light, or is it just oil light? This will go on when you basically have no oil in the engine, or the oil pump has failed, both very bad. Battery light indicates the vehicle is not charging the battery. Check the drive belt, did it break? This could cause a bunch of lights to go on. Let me know the answers to the above, so I can help to refine my answer.
