2006 ford freestar stops pulling after bumpy ride on old side road..

Check your Fluid Level, Shift to a Lower Gear (you could have broken something internally)... Please provide me with some additional information and we can go from there. If 1/3 gears work and 2/4 do not, then you have a failed Reaction Shell.

2006 freestar will not go into any gear. all gears give the apperance of neutral except park.

This is a recall just like the 2005 Freestars. Your Freestar more and likely has a defective torque converter and worn out splines in your transmission. This is a life threatening recall and Ford inc has been looking at it as a casual recall. Get this to your Ford dealer today and have them fix it at no charge to you. Problem solved.

Ford freestar motor runs but does not shift into gear. It can also be shifted into gear without stepping on the brakes although it does not go anywhere.

check your brake on off switch. it is located at the brake pedal. to check start your car then bush on brake it should not light up.
