I work in a muffler and brake shop. The rattle could be anything from a loose heat shield to a clamp or hook being broken. I would get it checked out by a professional

I have a 2006 ford fushion ...when I'm driving on the hwy there is no rattle..but if I'm on bumpy roads or hits bumps there is a rattle on the front right passenger side. But the rattle will quit if I step...

check that there are anti rattle springs behind the brake pads in the caliper on that side . When pads are replaced there is a spring plate that comes with the pads or there are little spring clips that are fitted with the pads to hold them securely in the caliper .. Compare one side with the other and see if there is anything missing on the problem side.

'94 Montero DOHC 24 Valve V6 3500 Rattle

This is tricky without a great deal of additional information. If it runs rich there is a possibility that the oil is becoming diluted and thus losing viscosity. Check the oil dipstick and see if the level is high and smells like gasoline. This will indicate that there is fuel mixing the oil. That's the first thing that comes to mind.

04 murano right side engine rattle

Hello windy....There are a few thing on the murano that could cause this... one is the exhaust gussets that go to the bottom of the oil pan to the exhaust, they can crack and cause a rattling noise. Also I have seen the rear exhaust heat shield spot welds come loose and cause a rattling noise, from exhaust manifold down pipe on the cat. converter. I would check them first, also the park brake cable will lose tension and rattle on the undercarriage.
A more serious problem would be the timing chain and/or chain tensioners...these are known to make noise around 50-60k. The tensioners are operated from oil pressure, the face gets worn, the chain stretches and it results in a rattle or a slapping noise
Useing a full synthetic oil with regular maintaince will help prevent premature wear.
Good luck, i hope this helps..please rate me a fixya.

Car rattles under right side of dash when accelerating

The rattling sound coming from the a/c system may be a sign of a failing blower, or there might be an object hitting the blades.

This can be inspected by an a/c technician, or if you are patient enough, you can check it yourself. Many automotive a/c blowers are located behind your vehicle's dashboard glove box.

Hope this helps.
