You have two options. Option 1 go to a professional, Option 2 only if you have the skills. Go to autozone or similar and get a leak detection kit which contains freon with dye a guage and special glasses.
Put freon in run system a couple days. Put on glasses turn on light look for a glow

Check the water pump for signs of leakage. If this isn't the cause, then perform a pressure test on the system. This will allow it to leak without running the engine and make it easier to source the leak.

Check engine code p0455

P0455 means a gross leak detected in the Evaporative Emissions System. Some call this a "gas cap" code, because the most common cause a loose or failed gas cap. But it could be caused by any vapor leak in the fuel tank, filler neck, or anywhere else in the vapor management system. If it isn't a gas cap, you will need tol take it someplace where they have a smoke machine that can find the leak using smoke.

Check the AC compressor to see if it is turning on, if it isn't the system is likely low on charge due to a refrigerant leak. You must have the leak repaired before adding any $10.00 per can R134, otherwise you might as well just flush the money down the John. Do not replace any parts until the problems have been diagnosed by a HVAC qualified tech,.

What is the P0440 trouble code on a 97 850 volvo non turbo

Code is for the evap system which vents gas fumes from the tank.
Could be anything from a bad gas cap to a leak in the vent system.

Code po442

There is a small leak in your EVAP system (Evaporative Emission Control System). It could be a cap that isn't sealed completely (which you should check first), or there is a true breach in a hose and you will need to take it to a repair shop to find the leak.

Odometer not working in 98 windstar

If the speedometer does work, but the odometer doesn't work, then you have a bad speedometer head assembly. The speedo head is a microprocessor that gathers the info coming from the vehicle speed sensor and translates it for you on the speedo and the odo. If one is working, but the other isn't, then it is getting the VSS signal, it just isn't processing it right. You could also be experiencing the below issue: The Brake Pressure Differential Deactivation Switch (SCDS) (2B264) located under the Master Cylinder (Behind the Air Filter) over time develops a leak. This causes a short and a fuse trip, fuse #10 if the engine is on. This leak also causes brake fluid to wick down two wires to the ABS brake module (2C219). The fluid accumulates on the (always on) power connectors for the ABS brake system which are powered by fuses 101 and 102 and are both 40 amp. The fluid attacts moisture, road salt and leads to a fire when the fluid and moisture act as conductor between the hot leads and ground. This switch has been the subject of other Ford Recalls, just not the Windstar van yet. Below is a picture of the switch in question. Notice the fluid that leaked on the part below it. This switch will cause cruise control problems, speedometer, odometer and ABS brake system problems.

My 98 grand marquis keeps overheating i have changed mt intake manifold, thermostat and radiator my car will overheat to the fullest and then all my antifreeze will leak out

Hello, By doing RR most of this doesn't work. What you really is a auto technician to run some test on you car. The one test they really need to do is a pressure test on the coolant system on this Mercury GM. This pressure test will indicate if there is a leak down. That is, coolant is leaking. With coolant leaking a a closed pressurized system isn't best thing for these modern vehicles.

The coolant system is a closed system and the manufactures designed the system to hold pressure above 240 degrees. By raising the boiling point by pressurize coolant system.
This helps pollution system to operate more efficiently. GB...stewbison

AC was charged but isn't staying charged

When you had it serviced was it checked for leaks, normally systems on have to be charged up every few years, unless there is a leak some place. Have your system leaked checked.

Over heating

check the coolant level to make sure it is full and check the overflow bottle.check to make sure the cooling fans are working at the radiator as if they aren`t there isn`t enough air flow to keep the motor cool enough.if they are working then you may need the thermostat replaced.also make sure you don`t have any coolant other thing that can cause this is a possible head gasket leak causing combustion chamber gases into the cooling system.
