Not likely take to your dealer, competent repair shop or auto parts store to have error codes read for Engine systems problems.

SOURCE: From red light truck started sputtering and and stalled out

Hello. The GMC Sierra has an electric fuel pump so you should ensure that its fuses and relays are working before checking it. You may need to clean your fuel pump or replace it if your gas tank is not empty, but your vehicle has difficulty getting fuel. The GMC Sierra comes in a variety of styles and trim levels that can affect the replacement fuel pump you choose.

If you can start the vehicle with carburetor cleaner, then yes you have a fuel delivery problem. To check fuel delivery, remove fuel line from fuel rail or carburetor and turn key to on. With the hose pointed into a gas can, you should see fuel pumping out of the line. If you have a camshaft driven fuel pump, then you will have to turn the starter motor to get the pump to work. If fuel is getting to this point, and the vehicle started earlier on carb cleaner, then you have clogged injectors. this may not be fuel related at all.
Check for spark by putting a plug onto one of your wires and ground the metal end of the plug . try to turn engine over. Should see a bright blue spark. Weak orange colored spark, or no spark at all indicates issues with distributor or coil. When doing spark check, be sure to have cleaned up any fuel that may have oversprayed from earlier testing.
An old trick to clear debris is to have one person cover the air intake while the engine is cranked by another person. Then quickly removing the hand that is covering the intake. 5 or 6 of those might clear out the trash.
If you have fuel, and you have spark, then timing may be a problem. get back with me and let me know what you find.

I have a 1989 Ford f150 drive for about 30 minutes it dies out or stop and want crank for about an hour

I would unplug the gas cap when it stalls; if you hear a hissing sound, change the gas cap, because it builds up a vacuum in the tank.

Engine dies while driving. p0443 code. happens after I get gas.

P0443 Evaporative Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction.

It is to do with venting the fuel tank.

It may simply be a loose gas cap.

Car dies while driving

I'm not sure what you mean "fuel and stall", but a loose battery conection can cause it to die. As far as fuel - check the fuel filter.

2004 crossfire engine dies at speed

Hello Paul, You stated your crossfire stalls and the usually restarts. It could be several things that cause this... If the check engine light is on, have it scanned to determine what caused it to come on - It sounds like you are having an intermittent crankshaft position sensor failure. I hope this information is helpful...Happy Holidays.

The truck starts up and during traffic driving or idling, the truck just dies. I need to stop and place in park and restart the engine. A few moments of minutes later, if left idling, the engine will stall...

the gas cap can make your check engine light come on do to not enough vaccum in the take for your evap system and it could cause the vehicle to run a little funny. but highly unlikly this is your problem.if there are no trouble codes or no check engine light this could be very hard to diagnose on-line you may want to take it to a respectable mechanic and have them run an on board diagnostic test on it

Car starts sounding like it has fuel starvation spuddering

Sounds like the vent on your gas cap is blocked.
The next time it dies, try opening the gas cap and listen for a sound like air escaping. If you hear this, it should start right back up again.

If I'm right, you just need to replace the fuel cap ($5 at any gas station or auto parts store) and you'll be good as new.

Dies when going down the road. Pull over and it restarts again. Usually when going uphill. If I don't let the fuel drop below 3/4 full it doesn't die. Could it be the fuel cap?

Remove the fuel cap and drive the same route as you did when it stalls. If it don't stall the fuel cap vent is plugged. Get a new gas cap.

If it does stall, I would suspect the fuel pump hose to the top of the unit has a hole in it. Allow the fuel level to get below the point where it stall and check the fuel pressure. Should be 55 to 62 at key up and hold. If it drops the possibility of a hoe is there.

Stalling throughout driving speeds or dies when comming to a stop

some cars have this problem when the intake manifold is loose or drawing air or the roteror cap may be defect, to check your manifold ,with a cold running moter spray a bit of starter spray (with eather) along the intake manifold , if it's leaking the moter will increase in rpm.
