Question about 2007 Chevrolet Impala
Is it possible that the unit has gone bad? If so it will lock up or be sticking and not turning like it should. Check the fluid to see if it has gotten thick. Sign of it getting hot because pump has gone bad. Other than tightening all the belts I do not know anything else. Hope this helps.

Start at the crankshaft (bottom pulley) and loop the right side behind the belt tensioner. Match smooth pulleys to the back side of the belt and grooved pulleys to the inside of belt. There should be a pic on a label under the hood also.

lmmfao. take apart the head unit to see whats binding? seriously?! the problem is most likely the anti theft built into the factory radio. if you didnt disable it before uninstalling the factory radio it could trip the security feature and disable your car. i really wish people wouldnt post such ignorant answers or an answer at all if they dont know what theyre talking about!!
