Question about 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
The primary latch is stuck and will only lock in place if pushed on heavily with a wrench. The secondary latch moves fine. When I pull the lever inside the car to unlatch it, it makes a LOUD pop and unlatches. I have sprayed WD-40 and tried to loosen it. After a few hours, I still have a hood that will not latch shut. When I push down, it gets under the secondary latch, but the primary latch will not fully lock down. So it's only half-way latched shut. Help?
