The FOB is good and the receiver in the truck died. There are scanners out there that tests FOBs. I have one and do it for free. It takes like two seconds to test.

My battery died in my remote lock/unlock. so I put he new battery in and now my locks don't work

You have most likely 'Lost' the electronic code that the key fob held. Your dealer will reset the key fob code for you.

My key fob is lost and I need to get into a avalon

You'll need the door key with a dead battery because the key fob won't unlock the doors with a dead battery lost or not.. Toyota dealer is the only place a new key fob can be purchased that will work.

Alarm wont set 2008 jeep commander

the car came with 2 RKE FOBs
are both dead.?
alway have 3 FOB if not you can not reprogram a new one. self.
can cost you $300 for more to tow your car to the dealer if the 1 fob dies. never run one fob. or bad happens.
put in a new battery in the FOB for door issues
the transponder part does not use the battery .
the transponder must be good, or the car would never run.
the jeep cuts fuel after 2 seconds if the transponder fails.

Chrysler crossfire key fob will not work to lock, unlock or panic

Put key ignition press unlock or lock 2 times then turn key to accessory position within 30 seconds. Your FOB should work properly.

1996 dodge grand caravan le key fob doesn't work, batteries are good. Can I need to sync it or reset it?

I put a new battery in the key fob for a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, and, at first, it still didn't work. Took it to the Dodge Dealer, who said the fob was dead. NOT SO! My husband put a little piece of cardboard on top of the battery so the battery contact was improved, and the fob works fine now.

Central locking - has locked me out!

You need to get some power into the battery. I would crawl under the car and see whether I could reach for the positive battery terminal to put the battery charger clip. If that is too hard look for the starter motor and that will have a direct lead the the positive terminal so you can put your positive lead on that. The negative can be clamped onto any part of the chassis. Even if the battery has died you should be able to get enough power to open the doors.
