Question about 2007 Chevrolet Impala

Both windshield wipers come on when making turns only shut back off after several minutes or turning off the engine. What could be the problem?

The fluid would spray all over the windshield at the same time but we disconnected that fuse.

I had a similar problem on my car. I found it's a short to ground on the wiper motor making the fast wiper run all the time the key is on.

To fix it i just cut the fast wire now I use only the slow speed and intermittent and wash.
Hope this helps.

Replace the turn signal switch. This is the only thing that will operate the wipers and washer at the same time.

Windshield wipers will turn on but at times won't shut off

Your windshield wipers come on because of the position that the wiper control is set. Wipers will come on intermittently if you set it for light rain or snow or it can be set to come on immediately and fast for hard rain or snow. Please make your windshield wiper adjustments by turning the control knob or lever to the desired position.

Windshield wipers will not go back down after shut off.

THE PROBLEM HERE IS WHAT IS CALLED THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR PARK CIRCUIT, YOU MUST REPLACE THE WIPER MOTOR TO FIX IT. I DON'T KNOW WHY IT GOT BURNED OUT, WHERE THE WIPERS ON WHEN THE BATTERY WAS DRAINED?
