The throw out bearing is making the noise. Bad news is you have to pull the transmission out to replace it. Do your self a favor, replace the clutch plate while its open.

The clutch release bearing is going bad due to incorrect clutch adjustment. Damage to clutch pressure plate will occur if not corrected

300zx clutch/trans noise

Sounds like the release bearing , with the clutch pedal pushed bearing would be disengaged and would not make any noise.

Clucth whistle sound when engage

It may be a defective clutch pressure plate release bearing. Have a local shop listen to the noise to confirm this is the cause.

When i push my clutch pedal in, i hear what sounds like screeching belts. what is this noise?

The noise you are hearing is caused by a part called the "Clutch Pressure Plate Release Bearing" Also called a "Throw out bearing"), you will need to pull the transmission out and replace it, of course while you have it apart you will likely need to replace the clutch disk and the pressure plate as well and have the flywheel machines flat again. Below is a picture of the release bearing in your truck.

Hello, I purchased a 2003 Hyundai XG350 last month. When I start the car, put AC or defrost on, and then start driving there is a screeching noise that lasts for 10 seconds and then goes away. If I stop...

See if it goes away when you turn the A/C off. The a/c comes on when you sre in the defrost so yo don't hit the windshield with hot air. The screaching is more than likely the A/C clutch trying to engage, that why it was overlooked or ignored by the mechanic. It is a common thing. The battery should be allowed to recoup from the starting of the car which a few minutes of running woll help so the a/c clutch gets full battery voltage to function.. Turning on the defrost and /or the A/c after about 3 minutes of warm up. Open your hood and have someone turn the a/c on and off, you can hear and sctually see the a/c clutch doing its irritating thing. But keep your fingers out off the engine and don't lean over it with loose clothing. Good Luck, Ned

Getting harder and harder to place into gear. Also, when the clutch is disengaged (pedal down), I will hear a louder noise, sounds like something is rubbing on something

It seems like the clutch pressure plate has gone, not releasing the clutch plate once the pedal is operated.
The noise you hear, is it a screeching one or is it like the gears rubbing eachother.
If its a screeching noise thn its the release bearing and if its a heavier grinding noise thn its the gears.
Guess you will have to replace the clutch pressure plate, its highly recomended though to replace the pro-kit,i.e the clutch plate, pressure plate and the release bearing.
Good luck.

Screeching noise, then a/c stops blowing cold air. Still blows air, just not cold air.

it could be the air conditioning clutch going out. to check turn your car on and idle it with ac on and hood open. at the ac compressor it will have a pulley on it with a clutch that engages when the air conditioning is on. if it engages and disengages it can be the clutch itself has gone bad, the ac clutch will also disengage if there is not enough freon in the ac system, will also engage and disengage if the pressure gets too high in the ac system. Depending on the year of the vehicle it will disengage at full throttle and come back on when you are not at full throttle.
If it is a metallic sounding screech for example take a coke can and drag it across pavement kind of sound it could be a bad compressor or a bad ac clutch. If it is a more rubbery sound for example a car spinning its tires kind of noise it could be a loose belt.

1. Check to make sure all belts are tight under hood
2. start car and look at ac compressor to make sure compressor pulley is turning and that the fan clutch is engaged spinning
