SOURCE: Power quarter vent window
All I do is (A) mess with the front window buttons --down a little/up a little-- then (B) the rear window works fine. Until (C) the next time it doesn't. AKA If (C) do (A) until (B). :)

You have a vacuum leak.Defrost is the default postion(no vacuum).
See if you can locate the small black vacuum line that goes inside the vehicle on the passenger side near the heater core. The trace it back,should see it going to a canister then to the intake manifold.Make sure it is not disconnected or broken somewhere.

The rear quarter windows have a common power source. Both should open or close in response to operation of the switch. You could have a bad switch or one of the motors could have failed
