Run the fault codes to find out if any damage was done when the battery was disconnected while running
It is an alternator , not a generator and doing what you did is a good way of damaging the whole charging system

Caddy won't crank all lights illuminate.....pass key fault light steady blinks.....tried alternate key.....diconnected red battery post for 15 min

Not sure what year you have, but you might try leaving the key in the "ON" position for about 15 minutes and see if the security light goes off, if it does it should start for you. The lock cylinder halo will need changing fi it works.

The code p1391 is telling you that your ckp/cmp sensor signal is lost. What it is saying in normal terms is that the (crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor) are not sending a signal from time to time. That is why the car cuts out and will not start. First thing is to look at both sensors and check the wireing to each for any damage. The ckp is located on the front of motor on bottom side. The cmp sensor is located on the back of engine near the top. You have either one or both sensors that are not giving a signal to the pcm (power control module ). Hope this will help.

Some of the 03 Tahoe's have an issue with the Crankshaft position sensor that causes it to stall or not crank at all. Have someone check the Crankshaft position sensor.

Inspection rejection due to inop K,A,M inop

I'm not sure what you mean by kam. I never heard of such a thing, but if your computer is losing it's memory (like a battery disconnect) try getting your battery tested. I've seen a few where the battery was weak or had a dead cell and when the motor is cranked the voltage drops low enough that it resets the pcm memory.

Can I replace my ACDelco with a DieHard battery in a 2002 Buick Century, 4 door, 4 cylinder.

Provided that you check and make sure your cranking amps are the same (located typically on top of your battery) that it is the same mount type (top or side (referring to where the cables are mounted to the battery)) and that the battery is the same or very close to the same dimensions (i.e hieght, length and width,) You should have absolutely no problem replacing the battery. When the battery is diconnected do yourself a huge favor. Take a disposable cup, pour in some water and mix in it a few tablespoons of baking soda. When you have done this take each of your battery cables and dip their ends( the ones that connect to the battery) in the solution. This will eliminated any acid build up and help reduce the spread of cable rot (where acid starts to corrode your battery cables) probably not as big a problem for an 02, but deffinitely worth the maintenance. And naturally be sure to dry te cables before reconnectig them.
