SOURCE: 2005 honda civic ex (alarm goes off)
Hi Nina, what year is the car? we need to Identify if this is a factory fit or a retrofit alarm. Once I know that I may be able to help.
SOURCE: Alarm keeps going off
you need to insert the key into the drivers door lock it then unlock it
if that don't work, do the same with the passanger door
\
which means the switch to the drivers door is bad

At one point the door was lock from the in side and then closed and then unlocked with alarm, try un-locking it from the drivers door, then from the in side push the un-lock button and then close the drivers door. U should have no problems with it, but they do say that putting the key in the ignition and then do what you would like starting it but don't and do it 2 times and then start it will tell the alarm that it is not stolen.
Do u know that key less entry code to your drivers door?
Let me know if you would like your code that is if you don't know where to look.

This alarm system can only be 'disarmed' using the keyless remote programmed for this specific vehicle. Press the "Unlock" button on the keyless remote -- this resets/disarms the alarm system. If you do not have keyless remote for this vehicle, get one and have it programmed at a Hyundai Service Center. Problem solved.
