Was the oil you drained very thick? If so this means someone had knew the big end or small end inside the engine was about worn out (very big job) Hopefully you changed the oil filter for a new one, Check your hydraulic fluid is okay worth draining & new fluid replaced look for Fluid leaking this may be the problem. If this dont work I suggest you ask a good Mechanic to listen & I expect the first problem IE: Big end, or small ends gone the engine needs large repair or look for another engine around scrap yards, sorry for bad news. Best Wishes, Malcolm Campbell.

I had the same problem but weirdly enough I topped up my Hydrolic fluid and it suddenly stop flashing Perhaps it is a short circuit on my Audi 2.6 E Cabriolet or it actually picks up both brake fluid and Hydrolic fluid with the same light

It is hydraulic and uses the brake fluid.Follow the line to the gearbox from brake fluid bottle to just under oil filter and there is a small cylinder that can break its seals and stop the clutch working and its easy to replace

I have a 2003 4x4 Durango a red fluid is leaking from the top of the rear axel bell housing, the ABS light is on, I know the ABS operates off of hydrolic oil, a line runs across the top of the axel, would...

a red fluid is most likly trans fluid. the abs has nothing to do with that, the abs light could just be a faulty sensor, besides, brake fluid is clear or brakish. now, check to see where the leak is coming from. what i dont understand is brakelines run over the rear diff on most vehicles. see if the leak is coming from somewhere else.

my reconmendation is to take engine brite, which can be bought at any autoparts store, spray area of suspected leak, then rinse with a hose or powerwasher. wait for it to dry and see if the leak becomes more clear, how thick would you estimate the lines to be? 1/4 inch?? 1/8 inch. clean it and find out where the leak is coming from

Hydrolic clutch makes grinding noise when in nutural...

It's the throw out bearing. They probably call it a Clutch Release Bearing.

Envision a round large thick tube. On this tube put a bearing at the end of it. Now put a thick metal doughnut on that bearing. The thick metal tube stays stationary, and the metal doughnut spins.
The bearing this 'metal doughnut is riding on, is bad.

Solution? Have this throw-out bearing replaced.
(Clutch Release Bearing)
