Driver window and remote keys not working

Replaced both window regulators and driver side master switch. Everything was working. Now key fobs don't work and driver side window will not move. Unable to reprogram key fobs as they do nothing. Tried resetting electronics by disconnecting battery for 10 minutes and reconnecting, without result. Car starts and runs as normal. Passenger window works from either door. Have checked fuses. All good. Wonder about relays or alarm brain??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I replaced the window regulators of both doors and the master control switch. when this was completed, everything worked aside from having to reprogram the keys. This I did with success and all was good. My wife drove the car the next day and told me that the driver window was not working. Additionally. all remote functions of both keys stopped working. They are completely dead with no capability for reprogramming. I have replaced the batteries in both keys. I have tried checking all fuses. I have disconnected and reconnected the battery. I have tried to reprogram my keys. I have replaced batteries for the keys. I have been researching on this site and others and have found where similar issues have been tied to the multiplex control unit. Does anyone have information or knowledge about this component? Where is this located? What functions does it control. Could this relate to my key and window problems? My next shot is to go to the Honda repair shop. Would appreciate any help, please

Try this take the remote apart like you had change the batterys in it .
Then take a good look at how is works .Look at the contacts that touch the battreys .You will see that they are springs that move everytime you push the bottons down to make good contact.
What if they bend and don't make good contact anymore how well do you think the keyless will work .
So what to do . Clean and gentely bend them back .It works everytime

What is the MCU and can it be a factor in my issue?

There's nothing more frustrating than an intermittent problem with something we use as often as our power windows and locks. Sometimes they work fine, other times they don't. And then sometimes they just stop altogether. It's no fun being the guy at the toll booth who's inventing a new yoga move to pass the collector 50 cents through an open door. It could be a bad switch, motor or solenoid that's on its last legs causing your problems. But it could also be electronic leprechauns haunting your electrical system.Lucky for you, there's a simple, quick and clean fix that seems to solve the problem a large percentage of the time. The solution was tested for 6th generation Honda Accords, but will surely work on a number of models since the MCU[/link (an electronic brain that runs stuff) will be designed similarly.
The fix is simple. With the ignition off, set the intermittent wiper control to the middle position, then turn the car on. This resets the brain and gets things back to normal. So ...
  • Ignition switch off.
  • Intermittent wiper set to middle position.
  • Ignition back on.
  • Back in business!

Replaced battery in crv and now headlights don't work

Check the low beam fuse in the fuse box, usually a 20A. If the fuse is blown/shorted during the replacement of the battery, your lights won't work. Replace the fuse if that's your case. Hope this helps.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo TSI, Passenger side windows do not work from master switch on drivers door. Both driver side windows work from master switch on drivers side. Passenger side windows do work...

It has to be the switch or the wiring, right? So pull out the switch and probe the back with a volt meter to see if power is coming out of the switch. If yes, trace the wires to the doors.

1999 Audi A3 1.8T Electric Windows and Central Locking Won't work

will your passenger door open with the key and is it just one side that your windows are not working or both. if its just one side it might be your regulator motor in the door thats not working if its both it might be your central locking pump usually in the boot. however if both of them are working fine it could be that your key needs reprogrammed however i think the 1st 2 are more likely to be the problem.

I need to somehow reset my factory alarm on my 1995 Nissan Maxima

this is how most nissans program the key fobs.
get in the car and manually lock the drivers door with the door switch.
put the key in and out of the ignition about 10 or 12 times until the hazard lights flash once.
turn the key to the ignition setting so all the dash lights are on,but do not start the car.
click the lock button on the remote fob.the hazards should flash once to confirm.
turn off ignition and remove the key.
unlock the drivers door and open the door.
the remote should now work.
if that does not work, the dealer can reprogram the fob with the obd diagnostic system.
