SOURCE: 93 chev s10 blazer, no fire to fuel pump, changed the two relays.

there wouldn't be any power at the fuel pump unless car was running or if the engine is being cranked over. When you first turn the key on there is about 5second of power at the pump then it turns off.Is the check engine light on?if so have you put a code reader on it to see what code it is.I had the same problem with a cavilier. For the longest time i thought it was the fuel pump but it turned up to be the ignition module.I was told that if the igniton module wasn't working then the fuel pump would't get power

First check all wires for any thing loose.
The muffler blowing up leads me to think the engine is so far out of time the PCM cant correct it.

REally you need to get it to a good mechanic.

SOURCE: car won't start without adding gas to air intake then won't idle

Check the fuel filter, you may have clogged it when you filled the tank.

Go over it, check the air filter, fuel filter, make sure your key isn`t bent. bent keys off set the chip and the car cant read it. next time take out the key and turn it around and try it again. let me know.

I have a 93 Eagle Vision we ran out of gas now the car will turn over but is getting no fire

There may be an air lock in the fuel line or fuel pump.
Pour some fuel in the carby and start the engine. You may need to do this a few times to get the air lock out of your fuel line/pump.

How do I clean my injectors on my 93 caprice. Its been sitting all winter. And I went to start it and it would only keep running with shots of starting fluid.I put stable intank before winter ,but didnt...

Do you hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn your key on? Should be a buzz for about 2 seconds. If you do not hear the fuel pump kick on then try banging on the bottom of the tank with your hand, sometimes that will get the pump to kick back into working again, but know that this trick only works a few times, may be time to replace a fuel pump. The only reason I suggest this is because you stated that it sat all winter. As far as cleaning your injectors-you can pull them out and maybe soak them in a cleaning solvent but i would try to see if your pump is working first. You can also check the schrader valve on the fuel rail to see if you are getting fuel up to the engine.

My 1989 GMC suburban died while driving and would not restart. I believe I ran out of gas but she won't fire up even after I put 4-5 gallons in her. When she quit, she chuffed once and sounded like a cough...

sounds like air might be trapped in the fuel lines try turning the key on for a few seconds to let the pump prime the system and shut it off do it a few times

Hi ! a easy way to possibly help this is to get a can of sea foam at the parts store and dump it in your tank it may help dissolve any goop that is in there and it helps renew bad gas ,also if this does not help remove your fuel filter and blow through it it may now have gotten a bit gumped up ,not a bad idea if you havnt done that for a few years anyway ,mostly the sea foam should help!

Have you checked that you have power to the coil on cranking? You may also want to check wether you have a good strong spark at the spark plug.It could be an ignition module breaking down.If you have no power to the coil you may need to change the ignition relay. Its close to the battery.
