I take it that it won't connect may have to take harness off old motor and some sensors that will probably have different connectors

Wiring pigtail input speed sensor on my 2000 sonata. The new plug came with three white wires but the wires from car are different colors. color wiring diagram ?

the connector is the same on both the old harness and the new pigtail. As long as you orientate the connectors the same way you just match up the wires. let me try to explain it this way. If you hold the old connector so the part that holds the connector to the sensor is facing up. Hold the new connector exactly the same way. cut the left wire on both and connect the new connector wire to the old wiring harness. Then cut the center wire and connect them. then cut the right wire and connect. No wiring diagram needed.

One thing I will add is to stagger the new connections. Meaning do nut cut them at the place. Cut one wire then cut the next about an inch or so further and then cut the next about an inch or so further than that. This will prevent the new connections from potentially shorting to each other and will keep the harness from becoming really bulky with all the but connectors in the same location.

Gd evening everyone I have a 03 camry 2.4 engine u just recently got the motor in i unplug the harness b4 i took the old motor out took the old motor out put the new one in the same way know the fuel pump...

Ok firstly even though it is a 2.4 motor and same year there are several variants on the theme you must make sure all the connectors match and wire colours match as some of these motors especially the top end and sports motors look the same but the wiring is not the same as to the harness you need to make sure they are not crossed or miss matched in connections to the harness one out of line will cause what you are experiencing.... Having said that and assuming everything matches perfectly and you not getting power coming from the blue wire is simply there is a break in the line somewhere... This could easily have happened on disconnection. One has to be careful not to stretch crimp or bend the harness wire connector ends as it will damage and looks like this is the case... so if you have checked the blue wire correctly and there is no reading on the amp meter testing the line then it is a break in the connection somewhere in the line... so did u take very good careful attitude when you disconnected the harness . Reason it is all taped and over the years of age the harness hardens so two do the coloured wires and especially near the connectors... so to me reading your notes then the blue wire has a break in it or the connection end has some dirt or other blockage which is a simple fix try an electrical connection spray first but for me it is a broken wire inside the blue wire sheilding

How to change left rear window motor on a 1997 f 350

      Remove the 1997 Ford F350's power window switch from the door panel with the trim tool. Unclip the window switch from the power window wiring harness by hand.

      Remove the hex-head screws from the door panel with the socket set. Lift the door panel upward 1 inch before pulling it off the door by hand.

      Elevate the window glass to the top of the window channel by hand. Tape the glass to the top of the door with packing tape to prevent it from descending into the door during the repair.

      Unclip the F350's power window wiring harness from the power window motor by hand. Unbolt the old power window motor from the door and window regulator with the socket set.

      Remove the old window motor before inserting the new power window motor in its place.

      Bolt the new window motor to the window regulator and door with the socket set. Plug the power window wiring harness into the new window motor.

    • 7

      Reinstall the door panel by reversing the method employed to remove it.

Air works but it dosent blow anymore I was thinking the blower motor or the switch

Hello: It could be the blower motor but first check the wires (6) going to the blower motor from the module (under the passenger side dash close to the blower motor and check the wires going from the (2) module to the blower motor. The module itself may be burnt where the 6 wire connector plugs in. If so the module will have to be replaced. GM sells a harness so you can replace the burnt connector, just connect the new harness one wire at a time. Make sure you orientate the new connector like the old so you get the wires in the correct order.

Do you have to loosen the motor mounts to remove a transmission from a 1999 SS Camaro? I had a transmission replaced and then I found one of my wire harnesses with the positive battery cable loose and...

if they were replacing the transmission yes they had to pull off all the sensors connected to the tranny and then pull some off the motor to get the old tranny out new in they should replace the harness if they left it loose which they probably did and they had to pull battery wires to replace tranny

Not sure what year motor ,but if you can find the mate to the motor harness would be the best.You could always get male and female GM weather proff connecters from 1-6 wires from most parts stores.This way you can remove and reintall without cutting and re-splicing.

Sounds like your blower motor resister went out on your lower speeds have it checked if possible. This is a common problem on GM models.

I need a injector harness for my 1989 mazda Mvp van.

I have gotten many good wiring harnesses from salvage yards at very good prices. New, probably only from a Mazda dealer. Hang onto your wallet if you have to go a dealer for this item.

2001 sunfire blower motor wires

You'll have to determine which wire from the harness is plus and which one is minus. Same for the terminals on the blower motor.

If the wires are connected backwards, the motor will spin backwards and will blow very litttle air because the blades on the fan are "pulling" air instead of "pushing" it.

An easy way to do this is to hook it up one way and see if the fan blows air -- if it doesn't, hook it up the other way.

I would expect the harness-orange wire would go to the motor-red wire -- try this first.

1993 lincoln towncar sunroof switch

I know this is an old blog but some people may still find it helpful. There are 4 wires in the roof window switch hooked up to 2 smaller harnesses that have 2 wires each.

Remove the switch and use only the metal contacts in the harnesses. One should use a light tester to confirm which one is the ground and live. this is how it turned out for my car.

One harness has a light blue wire with a black stripe, and a black wire. the blue one is live, the black one is ground.

The other harness has a red wire and a darker blue wire (silly ford) these are the motor connect and return wires.

You must hook up thhooked to (example, if the live wire was connected to blue motor wire and the ground wire was connected to red motor wire and it opened it, that would mean you would want to put the live wire to the red motor wire and the ground wire to the blue motor wire)

When doing these wire connections, it is advised that you have the ignition turned off. Once you make all the connections properly, you can turn on the ignition and if done correctly, the roof window will move. Once it is closed, remove the wires frome the harnesses and LEAVE THE ROOF WINDOW ALONE UNTIL YOU HAVE A NEW SWITCH.
e power (Live, light blue) wire to a motor wire. You must then run another wire from the other motor wire. To complete this circuit there is only one place that this last wire can go and it is to the ground. once this is connected the roof should either open more or close.

To reverse the operation of the roof, simply reverse the position of the live and ground wires in respect to which motor wires they are
