Question about 2000 Ford Taurus
We just changed the lower ball jint and wheel bearing assembly and it is grinding yet
May also be a hub or wheel bearing getting ready to go bad.

Check the front brake rotor. When the brake pads wear down too far they will make a grinding noise. I am not sure what sound the axle makes when they begin to wear out. I would check the boot that covers the axle joint for any damage.
