After engine shampoo, engine won't start on 2001 honda crv

You got ignition system wet, remove the distributor cap and check for water, i bet you will find it wet. you will need to dry it out even by using a hair dryer to dry it out, then try to start it. i would let it run for a while with hood open to allow moisture to flow out from under the hood to avoid other components from getting wet. let me know the out come good day.

Car wont start if there is moisture

If the starter cranks without the engine responding there is presence of moisture in the electrical or even water in the fuel.
Since you have established that the engine runs when it is dry or warm, the fault can be that there is some moisture that can accumulate with dirt on the igntion system and switch off the firing.
A proper cleaning of the HT wires and the ignition unit along with protection to the fuel tank and possible water leak into the hood must solve the issue. Finally make sure that the battery had good charge overnight , check the leads from the battery to be firm and tight. If charge is low then a cold start will need a good coil, good spark and a perfect starter motor.

My dodge dakota truck will not start. It has power we tried to pop the clutch too.

do you mean the truck won`t start and run or do you mean it won`t turn over with the key.if it won`t turn over with the key the you may have a starter problem.if you mean won`t start then it could be the fuel pump not working.with someone cranking the motor you should hear the fuel pump running with the gas cap off and listening at the filler neck.or hear it running listening under the truck at the gas tank.if you don`t hear it then you can hit the tack sharply with your hand or a rubber hammer,it hear the pump start to run then the fuel pump needs replacing.if not check the fuses under the dash and under the hood.if they are good then it may be the pump relay in the relay box under the hood and it should be marked on the box or lid.

I have a 1993 Ford F-150 that has water dripping down the firewall, under the hood, when the engine is running. The water is coming from inside a circular plastic piece located under the hood - just under...

Water that comes from the AC Evaporator is normal and necessary.Part of the A/C process removes moisture from the air it is cooling, via condensation.

I put my car up 4 the winter it was running great.... I pulled it out it was running great.... it rained real bad and a lot of moisture it would start for 3 months.... then it started back up running great...

Check spark plug wires and ignition parts, try using WD-40 type of moisture remover. Ignition coils tend to react to moisture if it gets inside.

94 isuzu trooper when it rains the truck stalls, loses power and turns off. drys out for a day or two then is fine if not raining

Well you can try taking a spray bottle full of water and spraying lightly all around the plug wires plus the cap and coil area.Do this after dark and look for any sparks jumping.More than likely you have plug wires than need replacing or you are getting moisture under your distributer cap.
