Question about 2004 Lincoln Navigator
Have replaced some fuses air condition seems to go on but blower won't work
Concerning the blower in your navigator. I had a similar problem when I first got mine. The battery in the truck recently got changed and there is a series of vaccum hoses in that General vicinity. One I plugged the vacuum hose back in the blower motor blew out the vents. But to ensure this is it I would check to see if air is coming through the windshield defogger first. If no there may be a different issue, if yes that's most likely your issue. In regards to the tailgate you could have a faulty switch, or a short. Lincolns are notorious for electrical issues. The wiring harness has a tendency to get water near it on the older models. Your wiring harness should be near the kick panel on the passenger side. Check your grounds.

Are you check fuse and relays? This vehicle has the FORD PATS key based engine disabling system, and it is currently engaged. The only way to "reset" the system is at Ford. This is not good. Troublesome system, and not an uncommon issue by a long shot.
However, it can be disabled using the bypass module, this is designed to momentarilly allow the engine to remote start by sending a proper coded pulse to open the fuel rail passlock injector cut off circuit. The output from an alarm/remote starter would then shut down the pulse, once it has detected the engine has engaged, and preserve the integrity of the PATS system. That is it's designed purpose.
I can not speak about a damaged PATS system, like if a thief has destroyed it, because I do not get into this part of FORD'S security application.
Hope this helps.
