Question about 2006 Suzuki Forenza
The water was probably filthy , and smacks of vandalism.
heck it might not be water, could be something worse. or a mix.
the filter will be clogged.
tank sock too, and pump.
and the check ball in the pump packed.
the injectors have 10 micron screens (google that)
and will be packed as may be the injector pintel valve.
the system needs service, from rear to front, (not reverse)
all that cleaned.
buy a locking gas cap.

SOURCE: My airbag light just came on.
Airbag light came on for me shortly after buying it... apparently a bad censor but came on again shortly afterwards... Apparently the car is known to have a bad sensor somewhere for the airbags.
If the check engine light stays on it has something to do w/ your fuel line... be it anywhere from the cap all the way to the tip of your exhaust. When it FLASHES there's something MAJORLY wrong, like mine likes to misfire lately....
I believe there was a recall on the headlight wires and safteybelt sensor?

Fuel filter, not applicable unless you are changing the fuel pump, this is known as a strainer or fuel sock. A lot of newer cars, 2004 and up have done away with the in line fuel filters. Sugest using a fuel injector cleaner, I use Seafoam, pricey but worth it

Have you tried reseting the ECU, it's worth the try
All you have to do is disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes, press the brake pedal several times while turning ignition switch on and off and this will reset you computer to factory settings....
