Question about 1995 Isuzu Rodeo

Fluid is leaking from behind the engine block but I can't see from where. I've checked every hose I can but can't find it. It only does it after I heat up the engine.

No engine stated of the 9 sold new.
coolant ?
or oil?
we cant guess. or see it. (colors matter)
photo it? post a photo.
you never said what fluid, even brake fluid sometimes can drip on and engine, (tubing passing by)
and wind shield washers. (more tubes)
first find and decide on what fluid it is...
and win..

and the object leaking actual is IT.
if antifreeze i can be.
head gasket or so called freeze plugs (core plugs)
or water pipes there.
gaskets, hoses squirting, o-rings.
ice cracks. damage of any kind, even latent wrecked car damage.

see below why no man on earth can answer you , (exactly)
and no photo of same.
no 2 the same, sorry !!

Fluid is leaking from behind the engine block but - 25649320-1k2qbj1z0ojvr1joorbx4qug-3-0.jpg
if you have water leaking, finding it is easy
try this. works on all cars... (not air cooled)
1: start car and let it warm up.
2: all cars the water pressure rises to about 14psi,
3: when fully warm the 14psi will in fact leak at all leak points.
4: and if you just stand there and look, even cut engine off
you will see the exact point of said leak, if you actually look and not gander from afar.
hose can squirt, heck all class failures can do that.
and can land on things that are not even water related.
that is why this test above wins.

if all this sounds scary and not wanting AF 50% fluid in the eye/?
why not get the car serviced, let them burn hand
and get squirted in eye, or get neck tie in fan.>?>>>>LOL

the hot engine has about 14 psi pressure in the cooling loop,so any breaches, it will leak and if there to see it leak, itss obvious as all get out. things can dribble , leak ,weep, or squirt.
seen rads squirt to things that are not even water related... watching it LIVE as it heats up, is a WIN !

If it is clear water, and its leaking onto the ground, and you are running the ac, its condensation from the ac.

Vacum leak on vacum booster for brakes

check vacuum hose first and make sure it's seated properly and not leaking.
This vacuum hose, if leaking, will cause engine to run rough or die.

If you are leaking fluid, the problem is most likely the master cylinder leaking.

If the booster itself is bad, it is a very hard job to swap it out as the mounting bolts are far behind your gauges on the firewall.

I hope you have a good booster.

Coolant leaking from behind engine block

If there is coolant hoses running back there then its either the coolant flange that distributes coolant threw the engine. or a ruptured hose, if there is no such hoses running behind then it could be a crack in the block or a bad head gasket. Just my guess, Does the engine over heat ? Hope it helps

1999 2.0L VW Jetta coolant leak behind crankshaft pulley

The MK3 VW's are prone to failure of the "coolant flange", which is located to the right of the valve cover, and will have 4-5 hoses and or sensors sprouting from it.

I'd be willing to bet that this is the source of your leak, not the cam pulley.

The part is inexpensive.

I have a 2006 Saturn Ion 2. My check engine light is on whit codes P0171 and P0106. My car is running rough, and likes to stall at lights, stop signs, traffic jams etc. (anytime it's idling). There is an...

Remove the housing that covers the engine block and look behind the engine block, up against the firewall towards the bottom of the block there are some vaccum hoses(this is easier to get too if the car is up in the air, or lifted on jack stands) get yourself a aerosall can of brake cleaner and lightly spay around all the hoses til you find your leak( the vehicle must be running) be very careful cause the fluid you spray can catch fire if it hits the exhaust manifold when it gets hot. good luck

Leaking radiator fluid but not from rad., pink fluid, no hose leaks

A fluid leak that is pink and/or red colored is usually either power steering fluid or transmission fluid. I recommend checking both. You can check the power steering fluid when the car is off. However, the transmission fluid should be checked with the engine warm and idling in neutral. Have someone else step on the brake or use the parking brake and block the wheels while you're measuring the transmission fluid level.

Power steering fluid leaking;

Fill it up. Have a helper hold the steering wheel to all the way to the stop while you check for leaks. Especially the high pressure hose.

Leaking Hydraulic Fluid

Power steering fluid is the only thing the car has resembling hydralic fluid. If you follow the rubber hose all the way around from the pump to the gear box, possibly with the car running and the wheel being turned back and forth by someone while you look, you should find your leak. This is assuming it is powersteering fluid. Check your pump. Is it low? Rubber hose probably turns to steel line somewhere along the path from pump to gearbox, hope that helps ya a touch.

Leaking antifreeze fluid from under the engine.

might be a freeze plug leaking, or heater hose. there are three freeze plugs on each side of engine and two in back of engine. most likely if any of them are leaking, it will be the one behind the starter on the far right rear of engine block. they have also been known to leak around the front and rear of intake, where intake, head, and block meet.
